Did you know it is 70 years 25 of June 2020 for Australia and 27 of June 2020 for the US since their respective involvements in the Korean war began
Dont know if our respective countries are doing anything to remember this ?
It's known as the forgotten war in Australia

From the Australian war memorial
In the lead-up to the 70th anniversary of the commencement of the Korean War on 25 June 1950, we will be sharing stories, images and collection relating to Australian service personnel in Korea. Please share your own stories and photos with #KoreanWar70Years.
Image: Private Alan Candlish, late of the Grenadier Guards, found this magpie with a broken leg on a Korean hillside. Now the magpie, whose leg has healed, refuses to leave Candlish and is happy to travel on his shoulder or radio set as he carries out his duties with 1RAR. Candlish was born in Manchester and migrated to Australia after the Second World War to join the Australian Army. (HOBJ3115).

Out of Canadian Bulldog Magazine
Text copied from Facebook
4 of the 5 are R754's ,S.G.T. St. Germain Transport, located in St. Germain de Grantham, Quebec. Back then they had over 30 Macks. Canadian Bulldog Magazine, Second Qtr. 1986.

I think it was too. My brother in law is the 3rd owner of it and the previous owner said he only put about 5-6k miles on it. We have about 4 inches of paperwork on it of all the work done to it.
Paul do you have any pictures of it?
Sorry been a bit busy last few days, finally got some happy snaps
As you can see they are a genuine Mack part, there's all the numbers off them
I doubt chromed these after they are made as they are two pieces, the cap in the middle is a separate piece that is pressed in like a welch plug, think you blokes call the frost plugs
Anyway thats them

Does anyone make chrome or stainless steel axle covers for 58k Camelback rears with the cone shaped axle ends? I didn't know if any companies made them for these axles or even a hubometer style cap that has a hole in the center. Working on my brother in law's 85 rd688sx and want to dress up this rare low mileage gem
Well I think Mack as my 58's are chromed and Mack is cast into them
Even the covers for the trunnions were chromed, very little chrome remains now as it has come off with stone chips

Full syncro, used to call them banana boxes back in the day
They must be fairly different to drive because a lot of Road Ranger fellas broke them pretty quick lol
I think they are a good box if you know how to handle them
I have never driven one ,neighbours growing up had them on logging for many many years and thats who told me all about them, they must have worked out fine as they bought more

Thanks Chris, some history and context to go with the pictures
I think that driving a truck thru all those different countries would have had challenges that US and Australian drivers could never imagine
