Never been into gambling at all
Remember as a young bloke doing my apprenticeship I was having lunch at the pub with the boys from work
They were all keen for a bet on the nags and I had go, done my doe and never had desire to try again which is just as well because once Im hooked on something I'm in boots and all, bit like my wise investments in trucks or farming 😉😉😉😁😁😁

All cabs are pretty much the same except the Flinstone which has a different cowl, finding one will be the challenge

Here are the pictures of the rust jacking before I removed the rails, note the spreading. After they were removed the rust was cleaned off, when the inner rails were off and were measured I realized that there would still be a decent sized gap between the inner/outer rails. Now Im wondering if there is a way to make them align again, or are new rails really needed?
Maybe its just the angle of the photo
From what I can see that doesn't look to bad, even in dry old Australia were no salt is used on roads we get a lot worse rust between the rails
So back to the question at hand, the gap should make difference in my mind and must of been there from new for the cross members to fit
Mack Australia or any other Australian truck builder didnt use "body bound bolts" back in the 60s, 70s and 80s, just normal high tensile bolts
Huck bolts came along much later that I know of
If it was mine and from the photos I can see, I would clean them up as best as I can, rust proof paint, cover the mating surfaces with heaps of grease and just bolt them back up
Do the bolts up tight with a rattle gun and drive away
Some times it pays to not over think things

Yes you will need to hook the coil up in the reverse otherwise the spark travels the wrong way
I have some information somewhere that shows how to check
I'll dig it up if I can and put up here if I find it
Thats a happy looking dish licker you have there

Maxidynes were in Australia in 67-68 and running up and down the HWY beging of 68
First two were a Flinstone running interstate and F model pulling a tanker , FR wasnt around until later
Both Gold dogs and gold motors
5 speed Maxitorques, Flinstone had 5.73 diffs and dunno about the F model now

Looking great, I dunno what colour is meant to be, next tin along works pretty good most of the time
We dont have 8 inch grinders in Australia, or maybe they are a recent thing, it was all 4 inch or 9 inch and then in later years the 5 inch cordless, my preferred when of choice these days
And as the years have passed I cant do as much grinding with the 9 inch as I once could, my arms and hands just turn to jelly and I have to keep stopping to recover

I doubt it is a sensor as the E6 is all mechanical and usually drives the tacho off the front of the motor

The one that isnt spinning isnt the axle with a power divider so that shouldn't be the issue
If only one wheel isnt spinning, thats pretty normal when jacked up like that as it is turning on the spider gears
The power divider is in the front diff so will have little effect in this situation

Thats certainly bright

These are the highflotation tyres we use on sugar cane haulot trucks
The rims can be spider (dayton) mount and fit straight on were your duels were
Give extreme flotation, are tubless, and apart from been noisy on the highway at speed seem to work fine
We can and do travel at 100kmh with no dramas and a full load
Admittedly this only short distance work and I doubt you would wanna drive for anymore than a half a hour at those speeds
