  1. The Shelby's were nice. But the one that absolutely, positively takes my breath away is the 1969 429 Boss Mustang, in it's unmolested and all original factory glory. This is the one lady that I would leave my wife for.......But I will never know as I will most likely never hit the powerball.
  2. Check yer PM's.....If this keeps up yer gonna have to pay me as a shipping broker!!!! LOL
  3. Here is a 1968 EXP500 Shelby Mustang, extremely rare. Owned by a gentleman here in Eastern Pennsylvania.
  4. Many GT350, GT500 and several other Mustangs were modified by Carroll Shelby and Company, especially in the late 1960's and early 1970's. My father used to tell stories of how they would rent them from the Hertz place in Philly on a Friday afternoon and go clean house at the local drag strips on Friday night and Saturday afternoons. There were even stories of how they would be returned to Hertz on Monday mornings with burn marks under the carpets where temporary roll cages were welded in and then cut back out, but Dad said he never saw that stunt pulled off.
  5. Did JC Taylor give you a specific reason why? Just curious.
  6. For $6900 it better be in pristine shape.........From the wording of the description I dont think the guy knows everything there is to know about the truck, doesn't make him a bad guy, just not informed.
  7. In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, if the vehicle is registered, tagged and insured as an antique vehicle, it MAY NOT ACT WITHIN COMMERCE, PERIOD. Additionally, many insurance companies have stipulations in their policies that do not allow loads to be carried. I recently heard that insurance companies are no longer allowing trailers to be pulled by antique road tractors, but I cannot confirm this- perhaps someone else can?? You need to contact the State of Mass. and find out how they do things, as well as your insurance carrier. Either that or keep your current insurance and start telling your family and friends to start ponying up some more coin when you do favors for them.
  8. That was an Australian U-Model
  9. Real trucks have DUAL spark plugs!!!!
  10. I have a lot of time with Allison HT740's which are bombproof, as well as the newer 4000 "world series" trannies with the integral hydraulic retarder. This is a really nice feature, however it tends to heat up the ATF really fast- especially if you do a lot of start-stop city driving or have a PTO- many residential trash collectors are now doing away with their integral retarders in favor of Jakes or even Telma retarders. If you do a LOT of local driving, it might be something you want to seriously think about. But if you do more road work than local work, stick with the stick.
  11. Working your way through Nun College like those Tilted Kilt and Hooters girls are ya???
  12. Damn wenches must be from Winfall
  13. Gentlemen thank you for your kindness. They posted the link yesterday in the hopes of raising a goal in a few weeks. In the span of less than 12 hours, they are halfway there. Tom, I had no idea. You have my sincerest condolences. I hate cancer with a passion. It has taken so many family members and friends, too. My wife is a cancer nurse, so I also get to hear about it on a clinical level too- she often connects with her patients only to lose them in a few weeks, months or years. My heart breaks for her, I keep telling her not to get personal with the patients but a Nurse (especially a dedicated one) cannot do that.
  14. http://www.gofundme.com/7d9t38 Ladies and Gentlemen, especially Veterans of the Armed Forces but most especially the USMC: I normally do not share stuff like this, however this one hits close to home. Allow me to explain- Reagan Odhner is a member of my Volunteer Company (as is her sister- who is an active interior firefighter and who also just got hired as a cop in Prince George's County, Maryland.) Her family and my family are very close. Reagan served honorably in the USMC for 4 years. She was recently diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer and is in need of financial assistance to help offset the costs of treatments. I am asking my BMT Family to please consider helping her. I know times are tough, so if you cannot help financially, take a moment of your time and say a prayer for this extraordinarily outstanding young lady and her family as well. Also if you are able please share this link on your facebook or through your email contacts. Thank you for your time. In Truck Brotherhood, YARDO.
  15. Uh huh.
  16. I was all hot and bothered till I got to "290 Cummins."
  17. Hey Matt, tell that worthless Asst Chief or Deputy or Fire Marshal or whatever he is this week to go over to the Mack Museum one day when he gets off work (shit he can WALK over to the place......) and see Don Schumaker, the curator of the museum. Tell the load to take the truck's serial number. There is an 8-10 week wait for information but it will be well worth your while. And when you do receive your large box in the mail, MAKE SURE YOU GUYS WRITE A DONATION CHECK to the museum. You will understand why when you receive your LARGE, HEAVY BOX. Tell the "load" that Yardo sends his love. You can tell Scheiter, too. And Mogensen if he still comes around. -Randy Yardumian (Montco 11, BAFC)
  18. Try JC Taylor in Upper Darby, Pa. They carry the FWD Firetruck. You can also try Condon and Skelly in Maple Shade, NJ. I used to use them, but they switched underwriters and raised my rates without telling me, so I jumped ship. Other than that (which really pissed me off) I had no hiccups with them.
  19. HEY!!! You seen a piss-yellow deuce coupe around here????
  20. Vlad, these are not too far from The Mahan Family's home, kind of surprised they have not purchased them. They must not want to negotiate on the price at all??????
  21. I just got this from Emergency Management. Pennsylvania has issued a temporary moratorium on hours of service regulations for those hauling road salt for municipal uses- due to the extreme shortage of road salt throughout the State. EXEMPTION_2014-04final.pdf
  22. He was on this morning breaking his own balls over the video going viral and being on all the night talk shows like Kimmel and the Tonight show......He's being a pretty good sport about it. Does not claim to be hurt at all, and has no animosity towards the plow driver- who's wife is a fan of the show and apparently called in. Rumor has it the producers of the show are setting up a live televised meet for later this week.
  23. Easiest fix: Open the drain nut on the pan, drain out all the crankcase oil, then light it off....It will repair itself in a rapid, orderly military manner.
  24. This is Steve Keeley, from Fox 29 in Philly and I actually watched this happen LIVE this morning. A few of the ladies in the studio actually screamed when it happened. He didn't even get knocked over and just kept on reporting. He's pretty cool, too. I have met him on a few fire scenes. One time a few summers ago we were getting our asses kicked at a brush fire and we didn't have any water or anything- he went and got a few cases of water and he apologized that they were not cold!!!!!!
  25. Piss on it. Stay at home and look at interweb porn errrrrr ahhhh I mean BMT.com
