  2. My friend had a that Truck builds air but when it hits 120 psi it purges and drops 15 psi on secondary tank. It's got new compressor new dryer new governor. Any other ideas???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Thanks for all the help, you guys are awesome. Ran the lines def comin from the head. Tore down #1 leakin coolant and 4 seems to be the problem hole. Company is to cheap to upgrade to stainless and conical. $2700 vs. $650 o well I guess. So ig I'm gettin one injector and 6 new copper cups. And difference in r&r or the cooper than the steel. I've never done the copper. The only real difference iv seem Is the conical are tapered were the copper set had the tip washers. One more question if ya don't mind. Bein as it was pushin compression in the fuel system, with the engine at operating temp could I have done a compression test on PTT and found the problem hole? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm getting fuel psi fmi 7 code Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm workin on an 08mp8. I have tried runin a line from the tank to the inlet of the filter housing and ran still looses prime, check valve on front of the head is good pump is good filter housing new. Bypassed line from housing to pump inlet, pump to secondary filter, and housing to head still no fix hooked it all back up the way it goes. Had a code for #2 injector fmi 7 replaced and inspected cup, it looked good no sign of leaks or wash out, but it dose still have the copper cups. I'm guessing maybe the one bad. So I'm hoping the is a way to find out without tearing down. If I plug the fuel galley in the head and pressure it up with a regulator would I be able to call it cups or injector o-rings? If so what psi should I use? Any other ways or ideas much appreciated!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'm a tech for a fleet of about 60 Mack's, pinnacles, granits, one vision, one rd, and about 15 KW's mostly EPA 10 trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Yes I had that a couple of months ago. Another tech thought a shop hand was able to r&r the housing and put a banjo bolt in its place. Wouldn't built enough fuel psi took me for ever to figure thAt one out haha. I Should have been on here months ago, you guys are some real pro's compared to the goons I work with. Thanks for all the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I ran a line from the inlet to the tank and same thing. Then from the inlet of the filter housing to the tank no fix, but I went from the tank to the pump straight to the head and it starts right up. So I'm thinkin ether the line from the pump to the housing or the housing to the head. But possibly the house to the pump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm a tech for a fleet of over 50 EPA 10 Mack mp7 and 8. In my opinion they have been great, yes some problem with them now and then, but hardly anything Major, nox sensors, egr diff psi sensors, never replaced any dpf filters. Couple of def pumps which are a bit pricey, but over all they have been good. And these trucks run the rough ass oil field road by drivers that don't give a darn about the equipment. 15. Yes in the filter housing. And yes number5 hole was carbon. Thank you very much I will go agin in the morin and get back with you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I ran the boost psi test drive with drive a week ago but the truck never hiccuped during and every thing looked good. The truck is always out so for get much time but the drive say it's doing is occasionally on longer drives. It did have egr valve codes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Mp8 hard to start. I have r&r both check valve's. Filer housing was recently changed, check balls in it workin good no leaks found, new filters. Replaced cups due to burning coolant and hard to start, used new tools every thing went well new injector orings. no more coolant burning, but still hard to start. Could I have done somethin wrongOnly code spn 4094 for def dozer valve fmi1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Clean oil bypass filtration. It filter down to 2-3 microns. Very good technology and proven it's self all over the world. It would sure fix the soot problems and plugging filters and samples are taken sent to wear check for analysis. Def. worth looking into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Truck runs good then it's like it looses fuel for a brief second then comes back. Fuel psi is good new filers all the basic stuff iv been threw. Any ideas Need help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
