Very well said! It is very good that there's a place to vent, or tell a joke, or talk politics, post a non truck related picture- it says it all right there in the description for "Odds and Ends". But one thing is certain, you can never please all the people all the time. I used to post "Pictures or the Week" every week when I was driving, pictures of where i'd been, what I hauled, random road shots that I thought were interesting, and of course if I was lucky enough to find myself beside an attractive female type person at a stop light, the "a girl in a car" pictures. And most people seemed to like it, but some people complained if they weren't truck related, so I made sure to include a truck somewhere- even though I thought they were truck related anyway, because I was sitting in a truck when I took them. And some, especially those from other countries, liked the "road shot" pictures. So I kept on posting them. Nobody, no two people, will agree on everything all the time, but you get along, right? And for the most part everybody here seems to get along quite well, even with some difference of opinions. One thing former moderator- or modulator as we used to say- Rob used to say was that the one thing he absolutely would not tolerate was personal attacks on another member, that was a very good rule.

Well, I don't know about that. I had pictures on Flickr for a long time, it used to be free to put pictures there. I also used Photobucket, and some other free picture site to store pictures, but I can't remember what it was. Then a few years ago Flickr said it would no longer be free to post pictures. Maybe you could post a few for free, I don't remember that either, but I was already way past the limit for free if it was. So either I would lose all the pictures I had already stored there, or I could pay the ransom and keep on using Flickr, so that's what I did. I have to pay a yearly fee, I think it's about $40. So that's why I use Flickr all the time now, and post pictures there willy-nilly. Oh, webshots was the other site I used. I don't know if that's even in existence anymore, pretty sure all those pictures are gone, but they're probably still on the PC.

This is when it was still clean. I still have that mask, the cigarette's still lit too. I actually made 2 of them, they're in my camera bag.

I do that too, and rinse them with hot water. Works way better than the Zeiss wipes. Yeah, I never wore a mask unless I had too, but I'll drink a beer whether I need to or not. Or take a drink of Red Stag, or Vodka, or whatever. I used to put my mask on that I drew the dog face and cigarette on, and Zina would say "you can't wear that, it's filthy". And I'd say "I know, that's the point".

🤣 That's for sure! Like that other guy, instead of participating and having an intelligent conversation or respectful debate she was just looking to pick a fight with somebody all the time.

Yep, that's the one, or gearhead grrrrrrrl. All she did was bitch about us "old white guys", her words. And if we even mentioned black anything, young, old, man, woman, it didn't matter- that made you a racist. I'm pretty sure there was at least one more name, but I don't remember it now.

Zina pointed out the "leopard lady" as I called her and told me to get a picture. Which I already had. I never did see her face, but she was kind of ridiculous looking with the short leopard shorts and those heels, and she was no spring chicken either as the saying goes, she was pretty old to be strolling around like that, like 50's, maybe 60's.

Yes, that's what I told her, they're not for me, I just take them because you guys like to see them. 🤣 I actually deleted all those pictures from the computer as soon as I posted them here. I did- except for the dog, everybody loves dogs.

I'm still trying to learn that on Facebook!😁 This is JT's old truck. I didn't even know it until he asked me if I saw it there. I don't think I took but this one picture of it.

I saw that truck in Harrisonburg last year. JT and Sandy came to the wedding, I told him I should have bought that truck myself when he sold it.

I last talked to him at the ATHS show in Winchester, he's there about every year too. He said he doesn't get on here as much because of all the "political bull$#it", but he did still look around from time to time. If I see something I don't like or if it doesn't interest me I just keep moving. But there's been a couple here who's only goal seemed to be keeping some sort of controversy stirred up and painted everybody with the same broad brush, like that female type person who got booted about 3 times, and changed her name after a week or so and came right back, talking the same old stuff. And the DM guy that was just hateful, he didn't like anybody or anything apparently. But I enjoyed hearing what all the aforementioned guys who are gone had to say. I got a congratulations E-mail from Jim Hancock after I got married. Said he was going to Macungie next year.
