I'm afeared to water it much, wells dry up in this area regularly. I did water it some last night because my green beans that looked so good last week looked like they were just about to dry up and die from the intense heat.

Not because of anything i've done different, but we've had some rain this year where in the past several years we had rain early then none the whole rest of the summer. Had tomatoes ripe weeks ago, onions and cabbage are biggest ever, got snap beans on the vines, and the yukon gold potaters did well too.

yep, after much research I found a picture of the first car Larry drove. Built it himself in the 60's when he was a mere lad of 15. Started on it when he was 13, 2 years later he had a ride anyone would be proud to drive!

Yeah, I gave up. I'm even gonna send Vinny this original picture soon's he sends me his address. It's one of the ones Old Bill put on his website. This is when Jeff first got the Pete. It had just been lettered and I hadn't even made a trip in it yet. It might be special for Vinny because the letterer guy is also spelling-challenged. Is letterer a real word?..anyway, he put the wrong number on it- it was supposed to be no.55, and he spelled "Teresa" wrong. When I pointed it out to him he had to go back to his lab and make a new decal.

sorry, I meant 400,0000. I was grossing over 400,000 and they were empty. I was hauling loads like this-

this was serious. it really happened, as you can see there are pitchers to proove it. if Rob hadn't pulled him out and randy not been able to get the giant hoe back where ever he got it from before anybody missed it this would have had an entirely different outcome- we'd be talkin' to randyp from the big house...the slammer...crowbar hotel...thankfully it all ended well

that really isn't unusual-randyp has hauled bigger loads than that with killer B. Remember a couple years ago when randyp got his excavator stuck? Then he went and "borrowed" the big shovel to dig it out? ...then he got the shovel stuck too!

Got this e-mail from Old Bill, don't know if it's true, but it sure is funny! Canadians!, gotta love em................ Several guys from North Battleford, Sk. dressed up their truck with a guy tied to the roof. The driver and passengers put on Moose Head costumes. As they drove down the main street of North Battleford they caused about 6 accidents. They were charged with Public Mischief and having open beer in a vehicle, North Battleford cops have no sense of humor.

I was looking around for the remote for the tv in the truck, the remote I haven't seen since I moved out of the mighty Peterbilt, and ran across another stash of pictures in a drawer. Some from the NASCAR museum in Talladega, some trucks, some mud bogging, most pretty uninteresting, but once again, gripping descriptions of each. like these- one of my bikes, this is a 750 Kawasaki. Good looking bike, 2 cylinder, and your arms would be tingling for hours after you rode it from the vibration. I traded this bike in on the KZ1000, which was a 4 cylinder and smooth as silk to ride. a couple of the Scout mud bogger. A Freightliner I used to drive. I took some bumper stickers from some truck wash we used to go to and cut them up and rearranged the letters to make a sticker to put in the back glass of Bo's pickup. He worked in the shop, and drove it for several days before he noticed it. Pretty funny,eh? Never did find that remote.
