  1. that's a big'un! I got Jo to stand in front of it for a size comparison but she's a good ways away from it here. Especially her feets.
  2. Went through Winfall the other night. Saw two girls that had gotten their car stuck. Maybe I should have stopped and help them push it out, I don't know.
  3. An MH I once saw. I had Jo stand in front of it and sip a soda for a height comparison. She was arrested for trespassing right after I took the picture. Sippin' a soda in front of a Freightliner. 9000 Ford
  4. They might be- I stood in front of one at David's this summer, and i'd forgotten just how tall they are, that thing was huge.
  5. "feet back and spread 'em...now don't move!" "like this?" "not you, you idiot- I was talking to him, now beat it!"
  6. Now that's a load of wood right there!
  7. A big Diamond T, at the Keystone Tractor Museum.
  8. well, maybe it's not an improved model- the old one ain't bad.
  9. I have a picture of Jo sitting in a B model in Greensboro. She couldn't drive it though, her feet won't reach the pedals.
  10. Here's another Corbitt that was in Greensboro, not quite as tall as the other, but still pretty tall! The conventional Corbitt's were pretty sharp looking trucks.
  11. I saw a new and improved pigmobile you might want to look into too.
  12. I can't imagine either, I mainly just want a place to sleep and some cabinet space for snacks my clothes. Of course I don't live in the truck like some drivers do, and i'm rarely out over a week at a time.
  13. Don't have many pictures, I was on the Petersburg to Milton mill roll run this week. Good run though, interstate all the way and it pays good. Burns your hours up fast though, it's almost 400 miles one way. And you've got to climb lots of hills- Afton Mtn, North Mtn, Sandstone, to name a few. It was hot in Petersburg when I loaded Tuesday. I was sweating and ran the AC most of the day. All that came to an end and it was back to this by Friday morning in Alta, W.V. A mill roll. Had two of them some trips. Other times I had one and 2 more rings in a different rack. The ring is the big part on the roll, that's what forms the beams at the mill. That's what they do in Milton, take the old ring off and put a new one on. Saw this in Winfall on the way home.
  14. I took this one in Greensboro a few years ago. Told Jo to stand beside it for a height comparison. She's only 5' 1" though.
  15. It's at the Keystone Tractor Museum now, that's where I took that picture.
  16. there's something strange about that highbinder, I just haven't figured out what it is yet. I think it's been modified a lot- you can see different lights, bumper, tanks, in the pictures but the way the cab sets just doesn't look factory.
  17. here's F.L.Moore and sons-you can see a red and white B model concrete mixer parked there. I had to switch from the 45 degree view to see it. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=26+monkey+wrench+drive,concord,va.&hl=en&ll=37.357786,-79.003276&spn=0.00146,0.00284&sll=37.380832,-79.125037&sspn=0.023359,0.045447&t=h&hnear=26+Monkey+Wrench+Dr,+Concord,+Campbell,+Virginia+24504&z=19
  18. pretty neat, you can see them in the picture.
  19. Truck Body Corporation in Lynchburg has 5 or 6 sleepers sitting outside, been there a while. I don't know what they came off of, they all looked alike, some are blue and some are orange. Look to be pretty good size ones, tall enough to stand up in.
  20. here's some pictures... two story Falcon KW cbe (cab beside engine). Notice the sleeper across the back. Pretty much everything i've ever read about these trucks indicated that drivers hated them. Another of the highbinder.
  21. No, I thought it was a joke- Dr. Phil telling anyone they need fucking help on a Demotivational poster is a joke, certainly nothing to get all bent out of shape over.
  22. that was the Dr. Phil picture?..I saw that.
