  1. Great randyp, soon as you make an appearance i'm out of likes- but it's good to hear from you!
  2. that's exactly right Glenn, I'm not a mechanic, but I learned this when I first started driving. A lot of drivers don't seem to understand this, I see lots of drivers in fairly new trucks get in a truck that's idling go to put it in gear and just sit there and grind before finally just jamming it in gear because they've worn the clutch brake out.
  3. I'll straighten this up before Ken sees it.
  4. probably e bay's your best bet. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xmack+shift+knobs&_nkw=mack+shift+knobs&_sacat=0&_from=R40
  5. I saw the Mack ad in the last Heavy Duty Trucking magazine for the Pinnacle with the 505 hp, 1860 torque engine and started to chub up a little.
  6. Yes they did, not bad at all!
  7. I've got the boss at least thinking about a Mack now anyway. They're very disappointed in the KWs we have, having problems getting the warranty to cover repairs when they break down, which is often. He said the one I drive was actually the best one they had, as far as breakdowns go. Only have two Prostars with Maxxforce engines, they've been in the shop as much as they've been on the road, mainly egr issues. He said the Cascadias with DD15 engines were doing best. I asked him about a Mack the last time I was broke down, and he said one of the salesmen at Virginia Truck Center in Roanoke was a good friend of his and they'd played golf together. The salesman told him that the Macks with M drives came back to the shop with problems less than any truck they sold. So he said he might give one a try. I said that's fine, but I don't know about that M-drive part. He said "you're pretty old, you might need an automatic". The Va. Truck Center sells Freightliners and Macks.
  8. Gee, they looked like a lot in the bag- I could eat these for a snack. Just put some sauce on them here but they've got to cook longer. I can't eat wings unless the skin is crispyfied...is that a real word? Anyway, here's the finished product. I think I could eat that. Yeah, i'd eat that!
  9. OK, i'll go start the charcoal now. Got a 4lb. bag of frozen chicken wings yesterday, think i'll just cook them all so i'll have leftovers for tomorrow.
  10. Stout looking tractor. I would never have recognized the one in Pa. as being one of those, I thought it was the front end of an IH. Never paid much attention to it at first, I was shooting for the MH.
  11. Overnite's still gittin-r-done in Venezuela!
  12. Good thing it wasn't a cop, eh?..no, wait- I wasn't speeding anyway. I was constipating on the tractor because Ken said it was a rare aminal and there's a small window of opportunity there to get a picture because of the trees and buildings.
  13. that's on rt. 422 in Pa, just east of Indiana- right after the 4 lane ends, maybe half a mile on the right going east. There's a ready-mix place right behind it.
  14. what tha- what's wrong?..where's her phone? Nice boobage though, "excellent"- Bob, 2013.
  15. yeah...we got it!
  16. nothin' like a screamer...
  17. where you keep your drawers is your own binness, nobody's gonna fault you for it here.
  18. GM diesels were available in Olivers and Massey Fergusons too.
  19. Part 2. I went to Punxsutawny Thursday, loaded in Sharon yesterday, and did indeed see more stuff- I saw this fog and that rabbit in Punxsutawny. Saw a couple of wreckers. A cabover Ford...stupid sign, got right in the way. Tried to get a picture of that tractor up there by the MH, never even noticed the Cruiseliner until I was putting these pictures on the computer this morning. I saw a yellow Mack. and another Mack. A couple of old Fords. And some black and white animals out standing in a field.
  20. Part 1, because I might go out and see more stuff. Looks like an Autocar dump truck at the auto auction place on I-90 at the rt. 98 Fairview, Pa. exit. Ford in the fence. Lots of aluminum wheels and blanks at the aluminum getting place. And a dumpster full of ladders. This is a Peterbilt, but I thought it looked really good- just enough fancying up without going overboard. This is from rt. 322 just north of Harrisburg, Pa. This is a ...well, I have no idea what it is really. Looks like a home made VW trike/bike/pickup/service truck/hotdog cart/tool wagon/campermobile. It was motoring down I-81 in West Virginia yesterday. And I saw several girls in cars, but I only got a picture of one. She even has a phone in her lap.
  21. Wearing sensible shoes is very important, this motorcycle safety photo shows an example of improper shoes. You should not wear spike heel shoes when you ride your bike!
  22. I like a classic B model, don't really like a lot of added stuff on a B, like 8" stacks, and customized so they don't even look like a B model any more. But I saw this one on facebook and I do like it! Excellent, as Bob might say.
  23. Me too, I agree with you agreeing with Superdog.
  24. .
  25. yep- i'd eat that.
