  3. What you have is a Maxicruse engine. Strong torque and full horse power at a lower RPM, CCRS have little less torque but are still strong These numbers are pre-ccrs @ 1800 RPM you have 355 HP and 1405 lbs on torque @ 1400 RPM you have 380 HP and 1425 lbs on torque @ 1100 and 1200 RPMs 1560 lbs on torque,Which is the same as the 427, That is why it fells strong,,,,,Its all about the torque

  20. Good luck with It---- looks sharp What I liked about it,.... Is it has a Custom built for tag on the fuse box ...(means to me customer input in ordering it from the factory) not just a stock truck. For the future this will be your wish book http://parts.dietersaccessories.com/default.aspx?Display=MackWelcome&CategoryID=5&NewSearch=Reset
  21. Not popular, but has been done(mack trans behind a vendor engine) If the customer wanted vendor engine(usually to match their other trucks in the fleet)They were also looking for Fuller trans(cheaper to order, rebuild and driver friendly) Know of a 1994 CL, 3406c with a Mack 18. Just look at the new Macks,All of the Mack trans are behind volvo engines
