  1. . Rob I forgot about the Dodge dump trailer from Matchbox . Wasn't there a bottom dump trailer like a maroon color they made also? The Corgis were nice also they made an R model crane and Esso tanker trailer . Love that Superliner artwork
  2. Dave love the Superliner pics and the grille on Atlantics. Virgo is a great shop been dressing up Mack's for a longtime.
  3. Nice pictures Superdog . Are they dumping in a yard you own? I love the addition to the bottom of the bumper on the red R model, very sharp. The guys down PR run that
  4. Paul there were quite a few all Mack depts. down here. Jericho had an all white fleet of CF engines and and 2 different Aerialscopes. Valley Stream was all Mack including a rare 1969 open cab CF that they still have.,There was also Huntington Manor Massapequa and many more that ran mixed ALF and Mack. My dept had 2 C models and the 1986 Mack Scope that was FDNY spec and ordered with a Century ALF also FDNY spec . We really put that Mack Tower thru some heavy fire duty over the years and it never let us down . Unfortunately 3 years ago we had to replace it with a Seagrave Aerial scope that has been in 2 salt water floods already
  5. the days I sit home which have been more then I would like lately make me crazy. Especially when I see other trucks out there working. So I guess what I'm trying to say is you are very lucky to be working and driving what you want everyday. God bless and be safe my man
  6. We Had quite a few CF-700s down here on LI with the Mack V-8s. Love the sound of the Mack V-8
  7. . All day everyday in this beauty. You can keep your new Petes and KWs give me this 25 year old Superliner and let me work!
  8. Being that its a 1250 is it a CF 700 with a V-8? For under 10grand you can have 2 pieces of classic fire fighting apparatus that would be able to handle most fires any volunteer dept would have. God I wish I had The money for the tower ladder
  9. Paul Baldwin FD is a class operation . I have worked along side them many times when we called them to relocate to us when the beach was burning. I do have a picture of the last Mack tower ladders in service taken about 6 years ago when we still had ours. Hard to believe 207 is the last one standing when there were so many
  10. . Brother there's nothing about that truck that looks funny . That is one beautiful A-Car
  11. I live right next to Baldwin the original owner. Baldwin for a time ran 2 Mack Tower Ladders this one and a 95 foot they still have . The 95 footer is I believe a 1991 one of the last and has an enclosed cab which you don't see on many aerials copes . There had to be 25 of them in service on the south shore of LI in the 80s. My dept sold our 1986 Mack FDNY spec tower ladder to Montgomery NY 3 years ago for I believe $50,000.00 so what there asking for this is cheap
  12. . We had 2 Brock's at my old company a tandem lugger and a packer that looked a lot like the one in this picture . Your right 2 stick t would look good lettered up like your DM and with a good old Virgo and Brooklyn treatment
  13. great looking truck good luck with her . Just a couple cosmetic add ons I could think of round fender mirrors(very helpful at times) and bumper guide poles with bulldogs on top and maybe a chrome breast plate to go with your chrome bumper .
  14. he only wanted to import chips or was it matches I will have to ask Elaine. Signed Dr. Van Nostrand from the Clinic. Happy Festivus everyone
  15. I will continue to keep your son and family in my prayers.God bless and stay strong
  16. She's a beauty ,is that Colonial green? Damn they used to make trucks good looking
  17. The company I work for runs 3 Superliner tri axles. The 1989 has a 350 with a Mack 12 speed ,the 1990 is a V-8 With a Mack 12 speed and the one I drive is a 1991 has a 400 with a 8 speed road ranger. There is a picture of the one I drive in the NY construction truck thread. , The 3 trucks are identical in appearance red with silver bodies . I will get a new set of pictures tomorrow and post . My boss also has 5 other Superliners early 80 s & late 70s that no longer pull dump trailers and are setup for sanding. It's a shame when I first started here the yard was only Mack. Now with the exception of a 2005 Granite and the Superliners all the tractors and tri axles are KW and Petes
  18. Laney and Two Stack, nice pictures. Love them R Models and any pictures you can find of some DM 800s is a good score especially these days when they are getting harder and harder to find. I was loading way out in Bistrains sand pit in East Hampton yesterday and was hoping to find a boneyard or at least some old trucks to take some pics of but came away with nothing. Vinny I think you are right about that being a Dodge
  19. Except in your yard . Its a 2014 wow whats the price tag on that beauty ?
  20. Maddog your property and trucks are only something I could dream of. I hope you have the time and money to finish them up .
  21. I remember Bayside Carting they always had nice equipment . They have gone thru many name changes and currently are Metro Wrecking . There superliner roll off is posted in one of the threads . Some other names thru the years were Wayside, Bayside, Statewide & Modern
