Have to make sure you have those sensors installed like boost , egt , rear axle temp and trans temp . these should be the missing gauges , then you have to contact mack advise what sesors you have now and they will change this on the main frame at Mack. Then reprogram the vehical module with the updated software and datafile.

Sorry missed your post , very busy building a Mack race truck . If you replace the TEM sensor , side on injection pump put some silione on the threads and run all the way in and tighten jam nut . When the truck has a rough idle does the rpm tach jump , if so the rpm engine sensor under your starter may be out of adjustment or have clutch debris on end clean replace readjust . bottom out and back out 1 turn. If you have high milage excessive crank shaft end play could be a issue also . The econovance could be issue also this moves timing up with RPM so if not moving timing or moving too slow engine runs rough . Check your wiring for it check for bare spots and were it goes in the back of solinoid they get oil damage there. Good luck hope this helps..

Try Winrock Truck Parts 1-865-435-0032 ask for John . They should have a used one ,little cheaper.

The engine ecm sinks the ground to solinoid . If you have another similar truck swap the ecu . Have had a few pin connection issues at main cab pass threw connector , pins not locked in .

Remove and install new shaft , remove power steering pump then nut on drive gear behind it , with air compressor off smack end of shaft at power steer pump end and remove out the back side . Shaft gear is not timed no worry , install new nut and shaft compressor .

If this is a vmac 2 setup pin A at sensor should have 5 volts pin B should go to ground . The 5 volts comes from J1A connector at vmac module this is connector all the way on rite pin F3 at module goes to pin A at sensor this is your 5 volt wire. Good Luck .
