  1. I'm going from driving in the city to regional diving my question is how often to I change my oil? In the city I change it every 8000 miles with 15w40 Rotella do I stick with that or stretch it out a lot longer to say 12000 or 14000 with the same oil??
  2. Ok fellas I need some help, I've got a 2005 CHN613 E7 427 ASET im getting a 9-5 fault code coming from the sensor located on the left side hot tube coming from the turbo to the radiator the wires a rubbish and I need it replaced except I dont want to shell out $300 for a new one if anyone can give me a part number so I can look for a used one that help a lot
  3. Well I know it's been a while since this post but just for any future references, I followed the basic instructions for cancelling put a egr valve on a 2005 CHN613 E7 427 ASET and yeah it is the best way to go. Cancelled the EGR system about 6 months ago, that and along with replaced gaskets on the manifold and gas mixer tube (both had slight air leaks) I have had no problems, no malfunction codes on the dash and the engine does indeed run a lot cooler. As far as the mpg it's debatable but I run within illinois with a dump truck sometimes I do over 180 per day sometimes I do less then 50 in a 10-12 hour day. But the EGR systems is useless, it only causes trouble and it costs around $4,500-5000 to repair/replace. 1/4 plate between the EGR valve and the exhaust manifold, using the gasket as a template and shaping the 1/4 plate to look exactly as the gasket it looks like it belongs there and instant headache relief Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  4. First off get the fault codes by pressing the 'set decel' and counting the blinks from the lighting bolt Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  5. can somebody walk me thru wiring these harnesses my truck never had them and it really needs them! Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  6. Hey Staxx any luck on the spring clip for the acuator harness??
  7. Hey them part numbers would really help out brother! Especially the spring clip, there really isn't anything that can be done to this thing to secure it!
  8. Ok this 4-5 code on my CHN613 us absolutely killing me!! It seems the spring clip on the plug that goes to the actuator sensor is missing and theres no way I can zip tie that plug so it doesn't vibrate or rattle when the fan starts blowing. I've inspected the pins and they look fine ...besides according to my Mack dealer those are not replaceable and if I wanted to replace them I NEED TO PURCHASE THE $5000 TURBO! ...If anybody can give me a suggestion or help me out with that spring clip it would be greatly appreciated ...hell I'll pay for it!!
  9. I wish I could find a turbo for $2800!!!
  10. Can anybody please provide me with a wiring diagram for a 2005 CHN613 with a E-7 427 ASET, the previous owner hacked up the wires located on the floor of the driver side, next to the clutch and ots driving me crazy to see a bunch of loose and cut off wires

  13. Brother thank you very much!! I've had problems with a check valve on the trailer, that has gotten replaced, but I do believe the spring valve might be damaged or malfunctioning ...that has been dropping my psi rapidly from time to time. Will give the wiring and connections a thorough inspection
