What is you're home track ? Ohio is a big state! In my opinion one of the top "gearhead" states after California especially the Youngstown Akron area.

Well, don't really have a home track anymore. Yes, this is a good state to be in if you like drag racing. Lots of tracks to choose from and typically only an hour away from anyplace in the state.
In 1995 I started at Magnolia dragstrip in Magnolia, Ohio. Then I started to go to places like Dragway 42, then Quakercity, Norwalk, National Trails. Running the all stick shift group we travel around NE Ohio and even Milan, Michigan and Pittsburgh, PA. The UMTR started in 2006. It is a throw back to the early days of racing.

I did spent a good portion of my racing career at Dragway 42 in West Salem. Had lots of good times, ran points for many years. Ran from about 1997 to 2006. It finally got sold about 4 yrs ago and the current owner is completely rebuilding the place. Hope to have it finished next year?
