  1. Dammit! It looks and sounds awesome. I also like the look of the painted tanks.
  2. Very nice, good luck with it. You don't see many of the offset cabs with sleepers so you'll have something unique. I'm not sure if you considered this, but the back window won't align with the sleeper opening when centered on the frame. You'll have some fabricating to do if you want access from the cab.
  3. Best wishes from me, also.
  4. Nice collection, thanks for sharing. I missed this year's show but have made it to 3 of the prior shows. It easy to see from the pictures how it's grown in size. More Macks, more other brands, more light trucks, and more people!
  5. I couldn't pick which one I thought was the best looking but the LTL had class long before the word was a catch phrase for Peterbilt.
  6. I wonder if the Brig is an Ole Yeller truck or one of a thousand companies that painted their trucks orange. Nice giftwrap job. If the tarp were brown it would look like a big Kit Kat bar. He'll get the last laugh when the boss is handing out the fuel bonus checks.
  7. It's a shame to see so many decent looking Macks leaving, but keep in mind we have seen evidence that at least some of these might end up in the hands of owners that take pride in their equipment. UShip.
  8. Same here and I think it may have had a caption.
  9. Nice pics Ken, thanks for sharing. I think the red, white, and black B model is from my area, but I haven't seen it in years. Does anyone know who owns the B85 with the green frame. I haven't seen that since Anthony Shuster owned it.
  10. I won't be there. I won't be home until mid-morning tomorrow and have some things I want to get done. Will someone bring a camera and take some pics?
  11. He didn't tell me either, but that's probably because I have a poor track record when it comes to keeping secrets.
  12. I didn't enlarge the last picture to see that my Wife's name was on the grille guard. No wonder I thought it looked intimidating!
  13. And far be it from us to disappoint.
  14. The blue R600 in the above post looks like an ad from the 70's, and I mean that in a good way. The Tietz truck looks intimidating, and I mean that in a good way.
  15. Nice!! I prefer the look of the headlights on the '66. The Rally rims and red-striped tires are a must!
  16. We have DPF Pinnacles that still don't have soot on the inside of the stack after 200k miles.
  17. That's trucking, every damn segment of it.
  18. Latrobe Steel has something similar to that slag pot mover that I've seen on the local streets, but it's much taller. Looks like a huge lower case "n" with wheels.
  19. Accuweather says 81 deg and "mostly sunny and delightful". Their words, not mine.
  20. Beautiful. Do you have plans for the interior?
  21. The Freightliner tractor looks similar to the one that was being towed from Detroit Diesel in Bedford in the last transporter saga. Maybe we're dealing with only one set of moe-rons here.
  22. Great photo-history on Dina. Thaknks for taking the time to put it together and post it. The gold Diamond Reo based tractor above appears to have a Western Star hood from that era.
  23. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Sounds like you might have enough time to give a bunch of folks a ride to the BMT show. i thought you did the impossible by catching only 1 of 3 wimmin on the phone. Upon further review however, it appears that wommin #1 is holding her phone and wommin #3 is searching for hers.
  24. ...Cause I'd embarrass myself by showing up at this guy's door with my pants wet and drool on my chin as I hand him his full asking price. The 70 is my favorite of the B's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1961-Mack-B70-Tractor-Antique-Vintage-Hot-Rod-/330992180605?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item4d10abdd7d
