  1. But does she undestand that no matter how deep the snow, she is required to genuflect while walking past the Superliner to her car, which is parked way on the other side of the driveway?
  2. Happy Birthday and Welcome Aboard! There are a few of us on here that turned 50 this year. It ain't so bad.......most of the time.....from what I remember....since my birthday in May.....at least I think it was May....
  3. Looks like you have next year's Christmas card photo. That's a lot of hours! I thought I'd dodged a bullet last night. I had a gravy run-relay in Carlisle with a NJ driver and straight back home. Snow wasn't even sticking in Somerset county. Then, in a 8 mile stretch near home, the temp dropped from 37 to 28 and I don't think I've ever seen a road turn to crap that fast.
  4. .....And so goes the thread that began with a 12 year old on a school bus.
  5. Offering a fantastic view of the road from the driver's window.........
  6. Nice Kenworth and reefer Mark!
  7. Prolly do, but what the heck. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Mack-U-Series-Sales-Brochure-/190776518437?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c6b2aa725
  8. Shoulda took Vinny with you to the bank. He's got a crapload of serial numbers, I'm sure he could spare one.
  9. Is that a suction cup with a waving hand on it stuck to the windshield? FAR OUT!! I see you also have the Hillbilly Splendor Upholstery option.
  10. I had always wondered about that. I used to think the 3 position was an updated version but I read somewhere that it was a matter of preference and the 2 position splitter with the range button was more durable or had some sort of advantage. You had the older splitter with the flat top and red switch which is my favotite of them all. Or maybe you switch was blue with the direct???
  11. I found the thread, but the pics have been deleted. Here are the driver's comments: "The one at the top is the range splitter (bottom box to top box), the one at the bottom is the gear splitter (direct and over) and it's reversed, when it's up, it's in direct, haha. I mainly enjoy it because the other drivers don't know how to drive it, so they leave it alone. "
  12. There's a guy on Hank's site that drives a Pete with a 13 or 18 speed. He took out the stock shifter and mounted 2 old style range buttons on the lever and topped it off with a classic shift knob. He said no one would drive his truck because it was now too confusing.
  13. Damn right you will! Welcome!
  14. Too bad he doesn't have a free hand to turn the Jake off and the wipers on. Is it necessary to move the stick into neutral whens splitting? He does that here ( assuming the stick on the left is the splitter, middle stick is the shift lever, and right stick is hi/lo.) I have not driven a late model 13 speed but the instruction plate on the old ones stated that the driver only needed to back off the throttle. The other video is with the stock setup and he does it there also.
  15. I tried to add this to the Baldwin post but it wouldn't load. The truck is at :28.
  16. I also would've passed up the girl that spun out. All that snow stuck to the bottom of her boots will fog up your interior glass and you'd have to park somewhere while she licks the windows clean. Who wants to deal with all that? Nice pics. Rte 7 south of I-470 is nice stretch of road.
  17. Prolly has a belt driven turbo mounted between the frame rails.
  18. Clean, simple, and beautiful!
  19. All of your hamster wheels appear to be turning freely.
  20. I'd like to see them try that using only the square and reactangular Lego's like I used to have. I did have that one working door, so it wasn't all bad.
  21. I had issues viewing this website with IE8 but now run IE7. At that time I used Google Chrome to access BMT and it worked fine. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/26307-trouble-viewing-the-site-with-ie8/
  22. Wall? That one is ceiling-worthy.
  23. I don't think that bumper was installed using the traditional method. Theory ( i.e. me overthinking again): The truck was rolling down the interstate and the bulldog saw his reflection on the stainless steel doors of the truck in front. Appalled by what he saw, he jumped off the hood of the truck. With only a driver to pilot it now, the DMTLC careened out of control and took out some gaurdrail. The owner, who's taste in workmanship is evident elswhere on the truck, thought the new bumper looked good and left it on.
  24. Don't worry about forgetting to post. You'll be reminded! I see the painter followed the same lines as the "300" stripe with the white paint. I'm gonna go with '73 on that one.
