After my meltdown on Monday nite I was threatened with a three day vacation, I'm like don't let me stop ya lol. Anyhow not quite sure where on Staten Island randy. Said something about 32nd st but he may confused. Thinking I might be going into Brooklyn which is no big deal. I've done all 5 Boros so it don't matter.

Sorry haven't been on much, sooo those that follow my FB page and talk with me know my job has basicly sucked the last few months for reasons too numerous to mention. Anyhow I decided to start looking around. Wanted to stay in an ag related field and not go back to hauling freight. I had been following a growing dairy food producer for a number of years and filled out an app. Had a great interview a few weeks ago and talked about a lot if stuff . Anyhow after a particularly miserable week complete with melt down on dispatcher/owner/ hourly paid mechanic and FB , I came home yesterday and went back to the barn to work out my frustrations. (Farmer 52 please remove your kilt from my barn rafters next time your in the area) came back in the house and got the call I'd been waiting for. I'm hired. Store deliveries of product, reefer load of product to our distributor in Staten Island once a week. 4 days on 3 days off. My longest day being 11 hrs. No more overnites hourly pay. Orientation this Tuesday and two week notice after that. Hate to leave where I'm at but the management is driving it downhill quick, I see the writing on the wall. I've got many years there but the winds of change are blowing and I feel the breeze so... I'm looking forward to the change. After I complete my ag inspectors schooling I'll be able to move around within the co and stop driving altogether which is my goal. The manual labor will be good for me also. So that's where I'm at. Hope all of you are doing well.

Just my two cents here. The only shortage we have is of good, safe, clean cut drivers. This "new breed" is none of the above. Just walk around a truck stop and look at some of the slobs walking around. The same ones griping because they are not treated like the so called professionals they claim to be. I wouldn't hire most of them to clean the dog shit out of my yard let alone drive a truck. Then they wonder why our industry is so over regulated by the govt. and looked down on by the public. You could get rid of all these guys and still have enough good safe drivers to move Americas freight. Sorry to go off on a tangent but it's a touchy subject with me.

You should remember how to get there lol . Seriously though I hope marks alright. Probably very busy is all.

Saw a beautiful black super liner sitting at shetrons auction in shippensburg pa yesterday. Had an headache rack and strobe. I was on the interstate and couldn't stop to look at it or find out when the sale date is. Someone should try and grab it.

Yes the m drive is big $$$$$$$ but works good for flatbed dryvan/reefer work. Not good for us tanker yankers. We test drove a 2013 fir two weeks last year and didn't care for it. Had it come with the fuller or the maxitorque boss would've bought it on the spot.
