Forgive me if it's already in here somewhere. But has anyone ever put an E-9 in a B Model? If there's any pics, can someone post a link to it. I can't look at half the stuff on this site that i want to because of this crappy dial-up internet. Takes almost an hour just to log on. I can't even get a reliable sattelite provider in this area

But ya, I always thought it would be cool to do a B with the big V8. Can it be done? :mack1:

END 864 series engines were offered in B model chassis in the later production years. They were rated at about 250 horse if memory serves. The series was B-615.

Someone else with more processing power will join in with more information for you.

Rob is right a END854 was in a B615 and the only ones i remenber had the big rad like a B&% or B. The END864 had a different oil pan to clear the axle and different something else and i think intake. The E9 would be a hood full and i think the Dealer here at Enid ok had one not to many years ago.I dont got no photos. I always wanted a B73 with a hot 855 cummins in it.

Many years ago I thought I saw an add in one of the truck papers for a B model that was for sale. looked pretty rough, but the add said it had a 500 E-9 but I wasn't sure if it was wrong or if it could be done. I think it could be done for a play toy but I don't know if you can get enough rad in a B to keep it cool working? I just thought it would be a cool combination for a play toy/show truck.

Thanks Dave. That is a nice truck, and yes, you'd never know by looking at it. Very nice pictures in your gallery. I like your Superliner also. The Superliner was my all time favourite truck, but looking at some of these other Macks, it would be hard to pick which one to have.
