I spent many hours driving a 318 with a 13 speed I will have to admit I liked it better than the Mack 5 speeds I drove in the r's and fs I did like the 4x4 in my Autocar and those 10 speeds in my White and International were nice

The thing that would make that truck jump out from the rest at a truck show is the tip turbine aftercooler.  I think it would have been fine with the triplex or just about any transmission given the loads he is going to pull.

It will have a unique sound pulling, and there aren't all that many tip turbines on the road anymore, or those that know what they are. I think you'd have to look a long time to find another B with one.

They were an interesting answer to a problem that went away, much more unique than low flow cooling, for the same problem.

A friend in Indiana has a B with a 300+ and a 14613.  Ron Bogan.  Really beautiful Blue with a bunk on it.  Met him years ago, and I think he used to be on here.  He says the tip turbine really screams.  I'm thinking it will sound like one of those twin turbo Cats with that insane whistle.  The 237 has a light whistle.

The father of the local fellow that has been helping me has a B dump with 300+ and a 8ll?  He has it turned up but hasn't used it for years since he closed down his trucking business.  Truck is pretty rough and just sits in a shed on his farm.

Many years ago I had an injector line leaking. While replacing it, I noticed the turbo was leaking oil and a bearing was loose.

So I changed the line and was going  to order a turbo the next day. Anyhow, #5 injector  died. Since there no 237 injectors in the shop I put a set of 300 injectors in and 300+ 5 inch turbo replaced the 4 inch of the 237.

We had to turn the injector pump up quite a bit to make it run properly, but I could keep rite there with newer 400 hp truck with 8ll Transmissions.

The only time I would loose ground was on long hills.

I at a long time ago did an in chasse overhaul on a 300 in a R triaxle and had the pump gone over it had the six speed if I remember it ran pretty good I told the pump shop down in Hazelton to step up the pump a little

The two times I have spoken with a pump shop I got the same glazed over eyes look when asking for "a little more".  Either I have to give them the whole spec sheet, or nothing happening.

I still have the printout from 25 yrs ago and FJH gave me the how to on my Robert Bosch pump on my old 673(and my 237).  I don't have any info on this "P pump".  Is there a simple rack setting that I can move a jam but a couple flats?
