Also gonna pull out the maxi valve that’s been leaking air since I bought it 31 years ago while the rear  end is apart I bought the new valve from watts years ago  … it’s still in the box I’m embarrassed to say how long I’ve had it lol

It’s easier to change it with a passenger seat removed. I should’ve just left it out when I was doing the valve adjustment but since I’m going to be working on the interior soon, I might as well just leave the damn thing out.

Well this is good news then, no leaks is a bonus

I know when I fixed mine it stopped leaking on the outside and then just leaked into the motor via the compressor ha ha ha

That was all a tight fit for me

well another 98 bucks for the big green mack that dont run,,,i got that from otherdog,,,,socket for rearend and supplies to install my new maxi valve,,,of coarse the delivery line wouldnt line up with the new valve so i went to plastic tubing and fittings

Ok. It happens.. there are wheel seals that dont really require a special driver. Stemco has a voyager series that has a one peice seal that can be installed with a 2x4 and a mallet without causing damage, or you can use a peice of PVC pipe that fits over the outer diameter of the seal and gently drift it in place..
