Wow.. that is a lot of What the heck is going on there?  Especially since it only has a NTC350.

The stretched it at the nose instead of the cowl.

The front of that is in pretty nice shape.  That has an equally impressive stretch job on the frame.

I saw that after posting. It took a while to look through all the pictures and then be disappointed.

Years ago my dad had 2 fords like that with the hoods with the big side grills in them on both sides it’s hard to tell what’s going on with the ford it has the ac on the roof that was correct for 78 but the wrong doors side panels and grille is out of a newer one

That LTL is a mixed bag of Ford parts.  Tiny Hendrickson suspension on the cut off too, with U bolts.  I guess if it was a farm truck it would be ok.  I kinda like it in some ways.  Cab's way newer than that hood.   That one step looks to be Peterbilt.  Some interesting trucks there .

Just thought I'd share this listing of a superliner with a stretched hood. I've never seen anything like it and don't know why it was done but here it is. None of the other pictures show a good under hood view.

Looks like a custom extension! And it spoils the Superliner hood.
