seyser Posted June 23, 2018 Share Posted June 23, 2018 I’m looking to possibly purchase a truck to use on the farm hauling grain. What are your thoughts on a R model with a 168” wheelbase? We mostly haul short distances. I know it won’t ride the best but I’m young and can handle that. How common were short wheelbase trucks? I see some pics of them from time to time, was a short wheelbase mostly used for lowboy trucks or what was the major benefit of being short?
