Screw on oil filter conversions

Recommended Posts

Not knowing much, but do the oil lines coming from the block have typical AN fittings(I'm picturing my 673 full flow system)?  You could buy a screw on style base and just hook the lines up to it?  Should not be too hard to do?

I believe my pals issue is he can't get replacement filters and that is why he wants to convert both.

That is a pretty common problem for a lot of us. Given the low miles I put on mine, and the fact that the filter probably doesn't do a whole lot, I clean and re-use the filter. You can also just take the filter out.

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!
