Geez! He was always there from the 50's til now. Like him or not him and Sam Barris were big influences on the car scene. Paul

It is sad to see the old masters leaving. He was definitely an icon. I think his name was mentioned in about every issue of Hot Rod Magazine back in the day.

Almost every AMT model car kit had customizing tips from him also. Paul

If you grew up in the '60's (like me),you knew about him. He created just about all,if not all of the TV cars from that era. A bunch of the original "Hot Wheels" cars were modeled after his customs,also. Another ledgend gone. Al

Only Daryl Starbird and Bill Hines are left of the originals
