hand primer/canister filters

I'm in the process of switching fuel tanks......the big one on drivers side seeps....the smaller one on the passenger side was completely by-passed because of hole in tank....don't need the capacity pf the bigger tank so am having the smaller one repaired and making a switch......so kind of inspecting all the fuel lines and some (all?) are going to need replaced and thinkin' I'm gonna have to use the hand primer when going back together.....tried it....totally will not move.....is this because the system has pressure?....I mean I know it can get hard to pump....I've primed Cat loaders and dozers lots of times but you can still pump it even when it's not needed( like when threre's a old rag in the fuel tank and you just think you're out of fuel)....or is it B.O. and if so we come to my first question.........does anyone know a part #?...or a place to start?.....'58 B67....it's a END-673....not a turbo.....I'm still learning but it's box stock.....

Also the fuel and oil filter both are stock canister....any help with a start on numbers for these would be appreciated......the closest I've come to a number on the oil filter is a Luberfiner 500C.....does this sound close?.....no clue on the fuel filter........thank you...

Other than that everything ok here in Tucson.....the college kids are all back....nothin' to see here......move along..................

Thats common all over. Asked the local parts guy for a few 1/2" star washers and got a blank stare and what vehicle does it fit? 5 minutes of trying to explain and I gave up.
