  1. Thanks Gall......part #s seem to be tuff to get ......I went over to the Mack dealer yesterday...some kid behind the counter....he did'nt know what I was showing him and he says he can't help me unless i have the part#.......I'm thinkin' ain't that yer job?.........Yeah I'm starting my own parts book on the 'puter as I go.....thank you guys for all your help........
  2. Hey Ron ...thanks for those numbers...I'm writing everything down and trying to find places in town where I can get stuff....I'll post more pics as work progresses.....it's slow going just doing a little at a time on weekends but it'll get there.......John
  3. napa 3090....fuel filter....that is it thank you this is the supply pump/hand primer........the hand primer seems to have a bent shaft and the lock was shade tree fixed and so I found one on ebay for 25 bucks.....PAI # EPP-3586.....the Mack and Bosch part #s are on the listing...I guess parts from PAI are OK?? Martha likes engine parts on the kitchen counter.....
  4. Me and my son cussing and having a ball.......
  5. Thank you much Bobby ,I will look at those filters....I kind of measured the canisters and if these look like a fit I will give them a try....good advice on the O-ring....will be my first time changing this kind of filter....thank you John ,
  6. I'm in the process of switching fuel tanks......the big one on drivers side seeps....the smaller one on the passenger side was completely by-passed because of hole in tank....don't need the capacity pf the bigger tank so am having the smaller one repaired and making a switch......so kind of inspecting all the fuel lines and some (all?) are going to need replaced and thinkin' I'm gonna have to use the hand primer when going back together.....tried it....totally will not move.....is this because the system has pressure?....I mean I know it can get hard to pump....I've primed Cat loaders and dozers lots of times but you can still pump it even when it's not needed( like when threre's a old rag in the fuel tank and you just think you're out of fuel)....or is it B.O. and if so we come to my first question.........does anyone know a part #?...or a place to start?.....'58 B67....it's a END-673....not a turbo.....I'm still learning but it's box stock..... Also the fuel and oil filter both are stock canister....any help with a start on numbers for these would be appreciated......the closest I've come to a number on the oil filter is a Luberfiner 500C.....does this sound close?.....no clue on the fuel filter........thank you... Other than that everything ok here in Tucson.....the college kids are all back....nothin' to see here......move along..................
  7. Are you using Websters definition or the Urban dictionary?.....I been a uranium miner...a copper miner....sand/gravel miner all my life and nobody calls me a miner.......but just mine one poon.....................
