Damn great deal! Oh Canada, customs and broker fees to U.S. than U.S. crap. But good deal for somebody.

I agree. Good enough deal, for sure. Too bad the paperwork,B.S.,and $$$$$ to get all that here, is more than most want to deal with. Hopefully one of our neighbors up there can take 'em off the guys hands. Al

you've raised a curious point here.... what do Americans have to go through to import a truck from Canada???

any difference importing a Canadian built rather than re-importing a US built truck?

just curious...

Canada has some stiff limitations... www.riv.ca has all our rules.

we have to pre-advise the US border by 5 days to "export" from the US where the title is cancelled... if you drive 100yds into Canada and they refuse to allow the import a massive can of worms opens up as you can't simply turn around and drive back to the US... we are firmly advised to call the hotline and discuss vehicle specifics if there is any doubt...

what hoops do you guys go through???

btw.. there are two or three of these groups of B's on kijjiji... Sask and Manitoba I think.... and NO, I won't open a dog pound on the west coast for all of Canada's orphan Macks... LOL

  • U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) for the port you will be using. See our pages for your specific port to get this telephone number.

U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Your Local State Department of Transportation

These are the agencies you need to file with, average 2 to 6 weeks for processing, if you submit all the correct forms and papers.

U.S .EPA. also requires the vehicle to be cleaned of foreign matter top to bottom before import to U.S.
