gearhead204 Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 1 stack sounds like the rack is stuck, remove the rectangular plate that is near the top of the pump and just below the pump plungers its about 6x2 . you will see six barrels or plungers all geared to a common rail gently move each one in a attempt to find the stuck one when all is well then you move the throttle linkage the rail will travel from one end of the pump to the other and the barrels should twist. if you cannot free it. it will have to go to a pump shop or find a good used . sometimes some on e-bay. do not loosen the pinch bolt on the barrels as you can change the fuel delivery rate thus causing one cyl. to over or under fuel. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here is picture of my pump,my side plate is larger than 6x2 just want to be sure am in right spot also is this just cover and nothing going to fall out. Probably silly ? But new to me am going slow. One stack Posted September 3, 2014 Author Share Posted September 3, 2014 Got it fixed had 3 stuck up took screwdriver and popped em down. Started it still ran wide open.
