gearhead204 Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 the e9-500 I got came from a 1995 ch series, when pulling the eng. I found a 1/4 air line elbowed into a tee for the 3/8 line that supplys manifold air to the injection pump. the 1/4 line ran to a skinner valve mounted on the cab hood support the valve has a short line on the other port open to atmospheric pressure. and a 2 wire plug ,I cant figure out w.t.f. this is 4 its not big enough to dump manifold pressure in any volume [polish waste gate] any help please!!!! it appeared to be a factory install, never seen a factory puffer valve by-pass .
