Popular Post Lmackattack
Was parked next to this old girl that is still working. Found it last night at Joes Truck stop on I-5 in Cental CA. Woke up this morning and it was still there so I snapped a few pics. Lots of modern drivetrain added but still neat to see on the road. has a N14 cummins, air ride rears, new front axel all out of a 2007 IH. The owner was very nice and we chatted for about 15 min, said that the truck has had many upgrades thru the years. Sadly he was rear ended a week ago by some illeagal Mexachan truck driver and it damaged his rear fenders and bunk when it pushed his load forward and into the bunk. He attends alot of the ATHS shows and knows alot of people who attend them.Trent

jakebrake86
I'm pretty sure I saw that truck westbound on I 40 around Little Rock a couple of months ago. There can't be that many of them still running. It was nice to see it still rolling. Quote Jake

BAD DOG
That's cool to see old iron retrofitted with newer driveline and still out there working.
other dog
Nice! I missed the picture of the week this week when I saw a Dodge Bighorn going north on I-77 in Ohio with a load of logs. Seen some at truck shows, first one i'd seen still working that I know of since the '80's. Quote Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999. JTFormula
I got a quick question on running older rigs. I know a lot of companies and brokers don't like to dispatch to guys running old iron. How do guys like this get around this?
