Green Dash Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 I've got a 1983 Craftsman GT/18 that's been on it's last leg for about 3 years now.....could use a new motor under the hood. You may have to mount the power steering pump towards the back so it can drive off the rear axle, it would be a bit tight under the hood. Aside from that, I'd say it's doable. David Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 I have a 12V71 core with the off road auto still attached available for the price of scrap when you're ready start shoehorning.
