vision386 Posted November 5, 2011 Share Posted November 5, 2011 My my! what a wonderful nostalgic film! the "good ol days" when trucking was still a noble profession,the true knights of the road,when people still looked up to truckdrivers! sure makes me proud to know my heritage started along these lines,but both my grandfather and my dad would spin in their graves knowing what trucking has turned into! makes me think i was born a litle too late,missed out on the heyday of the big trucks,pride in professionalism,appearance and a job well done! sadly now its driving school "rambo's" sweatpants,flip-flops,foreigners,and not bathing for what must be weeks at a time! and people wonder why "truckers" are almost universally dispised now! truly sad to see long-haul trucking fade away from what it once was!..............................Mark Quote Mack Truck literate.
