R Series Drop Visor

Recommended Posts

Has anyone installed one of the r or rw drop visors that are for sale on ebay? Just wondered what they look like on a truck, pics on ebay listing only show them on a roof that was cut off of a cab. If anyone could post some pics of one on a truck it would be great for the rest of us, thanks. Sorry, I should have given a better discription. I was talking about the 13 inch stainless drop visors.

Just my opinion but DON'T DO IT!!!. The fiberglass visors are what make R models stand apart from other trucks. I think the factory stainless R visors don't look as good as the fiberglass and the stainless gives the impression that your trying to look like a Pete or KW.

I agree, the stainless just does't do anything for the tough Mack image of the older trucks..they look prety good on the newer trucks though.

I like both the stainless and the fiberglass visors past that its personal preference. I can tell you that the 13" is too long it shakes and vibrates and comes down so far its out of proportion. I ordered one from KC truck parts out of Washington and had it custom made as a 9" it is very well made and fit perfect and it still has the right amount of glass showing and its light enough it doesn't flop around.
