Hi all,

New here and I need some info.

Let's say I have the money to spend on my dream truck. Is it out there? I drove one many years ago while my family was living in Costa Rica in 1975 I'm not sure of the model, here is all I know: Quad box, air starter and steel nose. I wonder if anything like this is out there, if so, would it be in good enough shape to pass inspection and work.

Any info would be great

We'll need to ask you......if you see the avitars in the left corner of these several threads? If so you will see a black truck which is Lmackattack and he has a 70's model R Model. Then the guy from Virginia called Otherdog has a B-Model which is Red in color. If any one of these trucks look like the one you drove then BINGO.....we've solved the mystery of what you drove.

Hope this helps!!!

well, I was just guessing, steel nose makes me think it probably was a DM Mack, if speaking of the nose you are referring to the hood and fenders and not the bumper, or possibly a "B". Good luck of finding your dream truck,,randy

The black Mack like Lmackattack looks like the one. I'm just wondering how I would go about finding one set up like the one I'm talking about. I know the air starter is a stretch, but I really want the quad box. I'm ready to buy if any one can point me in the right direction. Thanks so much for the help. M
