  1. I know that some of the antique trucks are selling whole for a $1000.00 up to about $4500.00 does that help any? It boils down to what you think you can let it go for or what you think it's worth to you. Most people will go through it before installing it and a rebuild kit will be over $1500.00. Hope I helped. mike

  9. Thanks Rob, I know I need all the help I can get. I know I have not spotted this in any of my manuals. Actually I have several manuals that date back in the early to mid sixties and to me they are mostly basic. The clutch etc. section in the largest manual I have, I bought it off of ebay and alot of the pages were stuck together. I sent them to our Historical Library and they put the pages inside of a humidifier and that still did not loosen the pages, only curled the tips up. I have the Mack Manual that was sent to me from the museum but it still does not get down to the nitty gritty. But I appreciate all that I have. Thanks Again mike

  24. Yea,..... looks like someone FORGOT tha SHIFTING VIDEO with someone on tha hood also. All of the American Truckers would have loved it. Only a few of us Want-a-Be Truckers could have benefited from a nice educational video. It would have been a one of a kind. mike
  25. Paul has got a good sense of humor. I like sleepy, sleepy is an interesting thing when your driving. Especially when driving your Mack. Why you can even knock down good size trees when sleepy. Anyway Randy, try and post a photo of your subject and see if someone can help. Also on the subject of belts.....my 1962 B Model's seat frame has the loop that looks like a person could install a lap belt if need be. And usually if the POLICE stop us, it's because they are jelious cause they don't have a MACK. Yaw can laugh if ya want to it was easy to figr out. mike
