I worked for a bakery back in the 70s we didn’t have much waste but what we did a pig farmer used to show up every morning and take close to expiration products also worked at a truck tire shop way back in 73 boss would tell me and he was way cool keeping that in mind … he told us to tear old truck tubes that were questionable too large holes to repair and re use so young kids could not take them out of the dumpster and use them at the beach instead I used to patch them behind the bosses back and give them to young kids coming in asking for old truck inner tubes

  12. I haven’t seen them either. I think the last time I was over there I was on vacation about six years ago. Somebody on here just talked to him recently because I sent him over there for something guy was looking for a bulldog, long eared within a year or so he was still with us.

  14. We usually pay through registration fees covering states you travel or if you’re not registered for state they want you to fuel there or buy a day permit to run through

I think we had this conversation a while back I’ve bought a lot of parts from him and sent a lotta guys over there I met him in Fontana California at an ATHS around 23 years ago he was driving his N model last time I saw him he just bought a gorgeous R model that didn’t need any thing I have pictures of it

  22. haha i dont have much trouble these days but back in the day when i was buying 100 dollar beaters with bill of sales written on a paper bag,,,,i used to spend alotta time in there with issues on shit that were usually resolved but standing in lines and telling them the wildest stories i could come up with,,,bob

  25. well alrighty then,,,atleast you have what you need,,,machine work can be a fortune,i paid 90 bucks for a sector bushing for my steering box they were spun by steering shop in san jose,,,,,,around here i dont even know where to have rotors turned,,,we used to have a huge independent auto parts store here,,,,they closed years ago,,,they had a huge machine shop
