  2. Back then I could repair a flat in 15 minutes from jacking it up to taking the jack out. I was only 17 now it would probably take me longer than that just to jack it up…. Bob
  3. Well, from what I remember, Tire guys used to have a hell of a time trying to get that outer stud off most of the time they were stuck on there pretty good I worked on a tire shop in the early 70s back east back then all we had was spoke wheels tube type. Split rims … Bob

  5. Take it from fuel line discussion when they changed the two piece bud wheel bolts. I didn’t even notice till a few years later. What the hell man there’s only one stud now …Bob
  6. I didn’t even know they got rid of them until recently since my 680 Kenworth had the same problem a few months ago they fixed it in one day. I don’t know what they did to it. And there and didn’t see any new parts…. Bob

  21. sorry bud just checked my manual...nothing about gas jobs,,,surprised me because its from 1980 and then there was still alot of them in use...theres is a lotta guys on here with them,,,dont know why nobodys answering

  23. Oooooooooooo make that 3 I forgot about the Hertz rental. I drove for a short while had a Detroit in it that thing was real loud.

  25. Oh OK thanks for that. I always like the way they looked from the beginning. I still like the way they look I probably mentioned I have driven a couple of them through the years I like the way you sit on them I like the dashboard and I do remember they were very loud and bouncy. Not sure if that would be . So appealing at 66 ha ha Bob
