    Supposed to be 106° tomorrow. I think I will continue with my Saturday morning ritual get out there. Fairly early and tackle that leaking maxi valve and pull down the headliner and start banging out dents in the roof the truck is been sitting around so long with no work at all done to it. I’m trying to make up for last time. Try to spend a couple hours every Saturday…. Bob

    Great post fellas I was laughing my ass off over the peeling potatoes caper and yes, some commercials get mighty tiring real quick. We have a lot of them in my area and as far as the Covid shots no they do not work. My wife got one because oh her daughter made her get one to see her grandbabies after we already had the Covid. She was pissed.

    I’m going to Home Depot tonight after work they have a rental department in there. I’ll poke around and see what I can come up with. They might just rent that stuff out right there. That’s probably the best way TJ.The latters would work well but all I have is one straight extension

    That’s a genius ha ha had not thought of that years ago. I bought an old pick up truck off a buddy of mine. When I moved out here I had to go back there and get a few things Massachusetts to LA anyway I got out to California with this old pick up truck that did a fine job all the way across the country. I didn’t have any trouble at all When I was all done with the moves, I sold the truck in California and actually made a profit on it. I know it’s a boring old people story but I thought somebody would appreciate it.bob

    F models they’ve been popping up recently here there’s not many of them left in presentable condition since you’re new I will tell you I had a 62 back in 1983 California truck really didn’t have a whole Lotta rot, but everything else fell off of it. Frankly it was a very bad investment best of luck with it… bob

    After thinking it over today… since I did absolutely nothing .but watch TVI think I’m going to borrow staging somewhere and just do it right I don’t want any problems, especially with the roof …. Bob

    Yeah, I may come up with something. I’m thinking if I try to spray from just one side half of it will wind up to dry. I’m gonna be out there in a little while working on it, but I’m not gonna do any bodywork today. I think I’m going to take out the passenger seat and take down the headliner. I have to change the maxi valve and swap out the transmission and I know that seat is gonna be on the way for both Jobs I might as well just take it out and leave it out … bob

    I used to have to pull into those scales every night for six years got pulled in a few times. I never really had any trouble with them, but I understand that scale can be a real pain in the ass. I don’t go that way anymore, but yes, California truck is clearly states, if you haven’t got company name and numbers on your door, it is not officially a commercial vehicle ha ha yes that fuel leak could’ve been a huge problem for you .. bob

    Yes, they’re bud. I also heard that but especially Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. Where the hell do these people come off? S we have no say anymore The other side has taken over entirely oh Brocky I also like the blankety-blank part ha ha you da man i’m afraid I can’t be that civil. I thought I was going to get thrown off of here a couple of times.

    I understand New York has the same issue with too many border jumpers You probably saw that story where Texas sent a bunch of them to New York. Here you go bleeding hearts ….And I hear as far as taxes go they tell me a New Jersey is even worse than Massachusetts. I don’t know that’s what I hear. Bob

    Oh for chrissakes sorry to hear that bud I know I grew up there myself and the only thing I didn’t like about the place was two many taxes and the weather sucks You sure got a whole lot more to worry about now. I’m sure dummies that decide to be sanctuary. Didn’t think they would travel that far. Bob

    Now that I look it over, I might just mask off half of the roof. I can’t see how else I could do it without wind up spraying part of it dry since I haven’t got access to staging, which would make it a lot easier

    They do have a big show in Plymouth California every year, but I can always dodge the truck scales 80 truckee going through Carson City and taking 50 out there… bob

    I think we had those conversations before. I don’t think I would roll by without pulling in again we have antique.commercial plates here I don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about it, but you never know as I mentioned. I’ll be lucky to get my truck out of the yard … don’t think it will ever leave Reno…. Bob
