  1. My Qantum has gone and done the same thing in my yard, I’ve done all the grounds I can find. So when yours done the sensor Gazza, did it ruin the ECM requiring a replacement? BTW, for a little while now, mine had been bringing up code 8’s randomly, mainly 8-5 but all all them at different times.
  2. I don’t have a diagram, but have you changed the indicator ‘box’ that’s hidden behind the panel in front of passenger seat, under fuse panel?

  4. Spray some soapy water on hose from compressor to wet tank, I’ve had a few fail from heat.
  5. I had similar problem after I put an alloy header tank on, kept pushing, turned out to be my driver was continuously topping up coolant to top of the neck.

  8. That’s the wires that you need to check, One brake on each head (low and high).
  9. Does it have a battery isolation switch? I had a bad one doing similar things once. Also had one with a loose cable coming off the back of it, only played up sometimes...
  10. Yeah cool, must be close (I’m guessing) to 500 HP, my STANDARD 470 CCRS makes 32psi.
  11. On a side note, apart from the idle issues how was boost and performance with bigger injectors?
  12. I still find it a bit annoying when someone comes and asks for help but doesn’t tell us what solved their problem.....maybe it’s just me with the problem.
  13. For what it’s worth, I have 6 E-Techs, they all have either 3 or 4 batteries each. I’ve never been able to start one with just 2 N70’s in it.
  14. Not sure if it’s relevant, but I think I remember reading that the 12B(?) flash help accelerator issues...
  15. Transfer pump maybe. Check ya fuel pressure.
  16. How heavy? Has it always been the same? Which engine/trans?
  17. Mack CCRS, did you get it sorted? let us know if you did pls mate, could help others.
  18. Pump is on right hand side front, below A/C pump. Easy to swap, common problem.....love my Qantum, lol.
