  1. Grant - that is a great project - keep us posted - post some photos if you can, I don't have the gonads to try something like that - so I need to experience it through you! Yes, and this is not 1920 Germany either - this is wheelbarrows of money that is actually worth something!
  2. Especially if we get to drinkin' BBQ sauce
  3. Looks good! They made a similar version that had a counter weight you could hydraulicly slide backwards to pick up even more weight. Paint that thing up and use it and your LJ to get in the rigging business! A friend of mine in University City (st. louis) bought one just exactly like it at a Ritchie Bros sale - his wife never let him go with me again. He had an old retired Campbells truck mechanic rebuild it with all kinds of high performance parts he had laying around. Big loud straight pipes and a hot cam, we called it Snorting Norton. That thing was humpin' to please - right out of the speed shop! The neighbors made him sell it.
  4. And he appreciates them! What will those beavers bring? How come you are smiling in the photos - you don't like being outside and trapping do you?
  5. I went through all this when I put a 237 out of a firetruck into my 71 DM. I had to change the front mounts, use different pulleys, change the fan, change the water pump, even reroute the coolant hoses with brass pipes instead so that it would all fit between the radiator and the block - got pretty tight in there with those additional pulley grooves.
  6. That just got sent to everyone around here! What a sweet little girl!
  7. My wife says I am the white version of Fred.
  8. I kept waiting for it to load................ Me: "It's a piece of crap it doesn't work!" Uncle Rico Rob: "Well, I could've told you that".
  9. It sits on the south (or SE) side of the highway and I think it or the Cat next to it is hooked to a old steel wheel road grader. I just don't remember if it is Pittsfield or not. I am the moron that has been by there 100 times and can't recall. But I do know there is a Dairy Queen down the street, its scrumpdillyicious!
  10. Well put. What do firemen think of that series that was on cable a few years ago with Dennis Leary - It was called Rescue or something like that? How realistic was it? I liked seeing the trucks and the actual firefighting, but there got to be less of that and more of the crap I don't want to watch.
  11. Ditto, Ditto, Ditto............double ditto
  12. Any pics? What is the temp there if you are still messing with furs? We have been in the low 80's some the last few weeks.
  13. Just not a cat or dog?
  14. Great - you are getting started! But the official grades for your progress do not start UNTIL WE SEE THE VIDEO!
  15. Someone got to sniffin the glue instead of using it on that retread.
  16. Was this your first brisket? Looks almost good enough to eat, especially since it was your first one. Before you cooked your first brisket, your deal about easily removing the rear wall because you just set it back in place is classic! That is something I would do and I cooked my first brisket a long time ago. You need to get some Show-Me BBQ sauce to use on your next brisket, which is your second one, because didn't you just cook your first one? It is made by a retired Veterinary professor who cooked his first brisket many moons ago and lives in Columbia Mo. We have never found a better sauce to cook with, for your first brisket or your second one, or your third, or your....... They ship that stuff all over the world, often to people overseas that I bet are cooking their first cat or dog, much like you cooked your first brisket. Thanks for the photos of your first brisket, they smell really good!
  17. That's right - they need to move that MR up to the front of the line, at least in front of that off-breed which I will not name in polite company.
  18. What did he want for it? Did he say what engine, trans, any other highly important info?
  19. How much for the pto? Can you strap to a pallet and load?
  20. I don't know if you saw this one or not......... http://kansascity.craigslist.org/atq/2897728500.html
  21. Looking at Mack log trucks makes me feel like a kid all over again! Thanks for posting!
  22. You are already branded as JumperAndSon - you should keep your father involved - he has thought enough of you to keep you around all these years.........
  23. I had big plans to show up, even had me one of them cheap hotel rooms (I wonder if it has carpet on the walls?). Then the blushing bride reminded me she is calving having a baby the week before - count me out, I don't get to come out and play.
  24. I think there is a volcano about to erupt under that long wheel base U. The gravel is startin' to flow...........
