I guess you could cut your own but we buy them at costco, there only about a quarter inch thick.Holy mackerel- or salmon- that does look good. I've heard of that before, never tried it. They have the "shad planking" thing here in Va. every year, but i'm not sure exactly what it is.
Where do you get the cedar board? I have a cedar tree in the back yard I could chop down.

Should be a number on the hub, take it to Mack or truck parts store, get some extras..1994 R series front hub has a little red cap in the center. It fell off and is leaking oil. I need a part number to get a replacement so I can use it this weekend. either that or MacGyver to jimmy-rigg it

That does sound low, down here on Long Island the norm is 100 an hr sometimes a little less for a fast payer..That rate still kind of sucks. I can imagine fuel to figure in and wear and tear and the rate is not enough. Just saying as I don't know the cost of living in New Hampshire is. The pic of the Pete is wild since you can only see sky next to the road.

I would pull it with the tires on,use a grease board, this way you'll get more leverage and once the seal pops out the drum and wheel assembly will come off..
-
I would use a body filler type material like bondo to fill and smooth the rough spots and than use a paint like rustoleum [sp] that has good rust inhibitor in it.

Are you talking about class 8 trucks, been doing my own brakes for 25 years and this is the first time I ever heard of this!!Not that it is the same today, but when I worked at my father's service station in the 60's there were primary and secondary brake shoes. The primary was the front shoe and the secondary was the back shoe of the two. There was a difference between the two. I think the primary was a bigger heavier brake shoe. My 2 cents worth for what it is worth.

I never knew there was a difference..

Not sure without looking it up,just grab a 5 gallon bucket and fill er up,get your self one of those pumps that fit a 5 gl pail..
-
All of the above and one more thing,do not over tighten the fill plug and add a dash of anti seize to it.

I cooked some fresh asparagus on the grill Saturday evening too- just cut it at Mom and Dad's Saturday morning. Wrapped it in aluminum foil with just salt, pepper, and a little butter. It was delicious, better than the steaks I cooked. Couldn't pay me to eat it when I was a kid!
lol,same here,now I love it especially when it's fresh picked,soooo tender...

Do you use spotters to load the trucks or are they on there own,guy I work for doesn't,they use the horn on the miller, just a matter of time before someone gets there hood dumped on..
