  1. Yes, these old road maps are pretty neat to look at. Here are some more.
  2. Found some of my Grandfathers old road maps from the 1960's. Thought I'd share them.
  3. Olive, You have out done yourself An 8 window possibly 9 window B model.
  4. Jay, here is the Carolina city tractor I drove.
  5. I agree Mark, Drove a U model to NYC for two years and liked how manual steering acted on the big road and in city driving. The R model I got after the U was to touchy for me.
  6. Very nice Mike. I remember seeing those trailers on the road.
  7. Olive, Your right again. Black and white photo's make you look skinnier.
  8. Got any more Mike? That truck is one of a kind. Would this truck be in the same era?
  9. I think she's saying, "Grandpa! stop taking pictures and lets go for a drive!"
  10. Mike, was it for a carrier in Vt? Most milk haulers in the NEK had Macks to start out with. Holden had R models and Superliners. Mike, how are the CX's compared to the CH in the city? They look like they can turn on a dime.
  11. Pulled a 50 ton low bed for years with a 350 and it was great. Then the 425 Cat came out and a lot of guys said wow big power. That 350 still got the job done no problem with my favorite 12 speed.
  12. Yea Jim, I didn't like the half fender look and the flat dash but they grow on you. Like the forward axle full fender CH better. Here is the first CH I drove in 1990 as a rental for one week. It only ad 99 miles on it and I enjoyed driving it down to Bethlehem Steel that week.
  13. Was this in Lancaster County PA? Looks familiar.
  14. Here is another picture of the CH. Wonder what it looks like now?
  15. Here is a Mack CH that was out front at HQ when I was there for school in 1989. This was the first CH I saw up close and thought it was a little strange compared to what had been rolling down the road.
  16. That's a great picture, and she likes trucks too awesome!
  17. Nice slippers, and what is that red truck photo next to your Aussie hat?
  18. My favorite book as a young lad.
  19. Try to get a sears best to last 55 years, Ha, maybe three when it comes to washing machines.
  20. Close, 510 and it was worth every penny. Only got rid of it to upgrade to the 410E. I did rip the wire down to barn more than once with the boom
  21. Yes, two cylinder but not a JD. 253 Detroit and a lot of fun if your spreading top soil. Here's one for you Larry. Marion steam shovel, would be a two man operation.
  22. Well if size is any indication, then here is my 440 putt putt....Wouldn't want to scare ole randyp!
  23. 977L love the sound of this machine. My friend with the the Allis scraper has this. Purchased it new and still works in the wood with it. What years were the L series made?
  24. Here is my evil twins F-12 back in 1995 when I picked up a few goodies to park behind the barn. He's a F-head so my other brother and I made his F-12 an F-16.
  25. Not sure what the rules are now since I haven't pulled a 50 ton since "99" but back then when I called in for a move it was a separate permit for each piece. The low bed was # 47 registered with the state. Was good to 122,500 lbs gross. Had a few cranes over 14' on rubber but could get them down to 13'9" with 1/2 hi T chains.
