    the Heinz

Good on ya mate, seen another lap around the sun! Have a cracking time🍻🍻
  2. Hard to tell, but that looks like an SR-1 spring brake valve
  3. @The Heinz can you check this out when you get a couple minutes. Let's try and figure out what's supposed to be in there, then we can work out what can be done with what you have.
  4. C'mon Larry, it's cruel to tease us with the first 2 and hold off on part 3! But in all fairness, you've done a cracking job with the first 2, and the triplex as well. Adam
  5. Is it some sort of cruise control throttle actuator?

Seems to be a common issue on here Bob
  7. I'd be talking to a dealer, maybe @The Heinz could run the vin and work out what motor the truck came with. Dunno but wouldn't have thought an Etech would be in an 2006 model over there. Either way it should fit, just need to find the bolt on bits and pieces, should be plenty around at wrecking yards to piece it together

Well that explains why so many damn democrat voters look so haggard.
  9. Hey Bob, dunno if they make them over in the USA, but these offsets look good on the steer
  10. I wonder if any of these sorts of investments were discussed at the winter retreat of BMT Investor members in Monaco?
  11. Right, well that wasn't the topic heading I expected to come across on Sunday night🀣🀣
  12. Yep the volvtards over here really don't want you to buy anything from them, let alone sell you anything Mack. Dunno where your located, but most Truck line shops will be able to get 99% of what you need, even Renault bits and pieces. Way cheaper than Volmackud. Be careful going too far with the rear gearing. Most, if not all E7 Mack's I've come across run 4.65 in b double or 4.3 for single work. They just don't have the low down pull that the 15L cats and Cummins have to be geared like that. Hell even kenworths only get to 3.9 with 620hp up front. Just sayin.

So these junior personnel earn approx $2500 a month and then lose 20% of that to pay for their food, then get fed toast and beans. Any wonder recruitment is non existent. Easier to sit at home on welfare. It's a bloody disgrace. Just gives you that much more appreciation for all the serving men and women from every country when this is how our governments are treating the ones putting their lives on the line for all of us.
  14. 295/80/22.5 is a stretch on an 8.25 rim, definitely a 9" for a 315. May need to go with offset rims to give more clearance for the wider tires, and you'll need to check there's no fouling on steering box, pitman arm, drag link while turning,
  15. This came through the email the other day. Thought you fellas might be interested in this https://powertorque.com.au/australias-first-mack-super-liner/

  16. And rh mounted ecm below the eups, definitely early etech. Strange with the rocker setups. And over here only the later CCRS Etech 470 came with the wastegate turbo. Definitely a mongrel build, but if the bottom ends in good nick a great platform to build off. At least you'll have the vcm to go with it
  17. Yep, life wouldn't be the same without all you've done here. Hope you're having a cracker of a day.🍻
  18. G'day jervn4, looks like you've got an ASET engine, not an etech. We didn't get them here in Aus, but they were the start of the emissions engines. Reckon @Joey Mack will be able to steer you right
  19. Maybe the Saab 900 is more your style Joey πŸ˜‰
  20. I'd say you're on the money with it being an E6 housing.

"As an American tax payer, I don't want my dollars going towards this crap." πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Couldn't have said it better myself.

Yeah I was thinking the same Joey. Figured income tax would be federal, so it's gotta be some sorta tax on spending. Guess they don't worry that the illegals πŸ’΅ are funded by taxing/ taking jobs from the working class
  23. Well if only I'd have know that all I need was a welder and a couple of bicycles to impress the girls in the neighbourhood!
  24. Thats about our rate for a 10yrd body truck over here. Most jobs we work on minimum hours, usually 4hrs on construction jobs. Had too many contractors booking trucks and cancelling them when they got to site cause they weren't organised or couldn't read a weather forecast. Doesn't look as good when you convert it to US$ $110 Aus is $67.71US Dunno what your diesel prices are like over there now, we're paying $6.25 Aus/ gallon, so about $3.85US gallon
  25. Onsite work in Aus is charged on hourly rate not by volume/ tonnage. I'd be talking to a couple other contractors in your area. There's usually an unofficial local rate but it can vary depending on how many trucks are about and what the workload is, IE: If they need it moved asap, then they will usually pay a premium to pull trucks from other work to get it done. Are you running truck only, or with a dog/ pig trailer ( dunno what you call them over there) or semi tipper?
