They're odd looking, guess that's part of what caught my eye. Must've been well before my time too because I don't ever remember seeing one before.
1961 to early 1966, replaced by the W series Coes

Soooo after thinkin about It for a couple of days, I said 'Ah what the hell' so I called Mike,..... The export guy beat me to the punch, the tractor is on It's way to Africa!! China men say ' he who stand still to long soon go backwards'
Wasn't a Black R700 with a Red chassis was it?

Yup! 41 chevy hit the nail on the head! being an ex-bedbugger myself,i have always been interested in the history of the moving and storage industry,i have some old records from my former employer (Atlas Van lines) and in 1967 1 in 3 tractors either leased or company owned was an H-model Ford! and as stated, they were more commonly referred to as "two story falcons" hard to find any vintage moving memorabilia WITHOUT a picture of a Ford on it!,they were VERY popular with movers,in my opinion, the only truck that was more popular with movers because it stayed in production longer, was the GMC Astro/Chevy Titan 90.................Mark
My uncle worked for Walton P Davis Movers and ran from N.Y. to Florida with one. He was very upset when they replaced it with a I.H. Transtar.

Too close to tell, but I lean towards stupid. Paul

ya,,,remember when i was a kid,,thier was quite a few of them out there,,,very popular with bedbuggers...and yes they are very cool..lol two story falcon,,,havent heard that in years.bob
Theres a gentle man that has a 64 Ford H and a International Conco that I'd like to buy. You're right Bob, Allied and NorthAmerican were big H model users.
-
He was elected for only one reason.......Skin color...nothing more, nothing less. Paul

It a Ford H model ,also called the two story Falcon. Ford took a C model added the fiberglass panels to space it up into a Class 8 road truck. Quick fix when the GM Cracker box and the Dodge 1000 came out. The cover on the old fender wells is a tool box /storeage compartment. Paul

Written across the wall of the cave were the following symbols:
It was considered a unique find and the writings were said to be at least 3000 years old! The piece of stone was removed, brought to the Museum, and Archaeologists from around the World came to study the Ancient Symbols. They held a huge Meeting after months of Conferences to discuss the meaning of the markings. The President of the Society pointed to first drawing and said:
"This is a Woman. We can see these People held Women in high esteem.
You can also tell they were intelligent, as the next symbol is a donkey, so they were smart
enough to have animals help them till the soil.
The next drawing is a shovel, which means they had tools to help them."
Even further proof of their high intelligence is the fish which means that if a famine hit the Earth and food didn't grow, they seek food from the Sea.
The last symbol appears to be the Star of David which means they were evidently Hebrews.
The audience applauded enthusiastically.
Then a little old Jewish man stood up in the back of the room and said,
"Idiots...
Hebrew is read from right to left... It says: 'Holy Mackerel, Dig The Ass On That Chick"

After reading the article on the banning of incandesent lighting by 2014, it shows the Feds are not trying to "creat jobs". Rob, the shirt doesn't say it loud enough.

I think you did alright. I'd rather have the Mack.
Ditto!!! Live and learn. I ran a 56 Pontiac Safari in a demo derby...in 1972 it was just an old station wagon.

Nice ,not to happy with the Chevy, but can't tell with the hoods closed. Paul

Damn man you could made a neat sleeper!!. Didn't you know the drive train is all Detroit based?? My uncle did machine shop work for Raymond Corsann Rolls Royce in Queens. The 6 was a GMC 302, the V8 372 Cadillac that R/R got as Unassembled partially machined castings, same on the Hydromatic (neutral,drive,2nd,low,reverse). The rears were licenced made Ford 1/1/4 ton truck with the servo activated Mechanical brakes that wouldn't stop in reverse til the servo turned 180 degrees. Still neat cars!

Paul, the first time I attempted it, my ignorant adjusting caused me to have to go back to mack and buy a new replacement air valve because the way I had it, when truck was shut down and all air bled off overnight, cab sagged down so much that rod overextended air valve and actually snapped it off. The adjusting rod from bottom of cab to air valve is threaded. This time I had all air bled, adjusted rod with threads until it had air valve extended to its max point without overextending, then tightened it all in there. Most likely I need to replace the 2 small shocks on it also, cause I think they are completely shot and not helping much. when I start truck now, it hits bout 50 psi on air pressure and cab starts to rise. Heh, if you dont get it stiff enough, its like riding a roller coaster every time you shift. There are prolly a lot more on here that know more bout it than me, but thats the way i went bout it. i really dont think cabs are posed to sag much as mine when no air pressure, but, like I said, my 2 lil shocks under there may not be doing their part. Good Luck, and let me know how it goes. randyp
I'll be doing the bags at the end of the month when I'm off again. Mine beleeds completly down when it sits and both bagsleak from dry rot. I'll let ypu know how it goes. Paul

I was working near Riverheads Gabreski Airport when the 106th Rescue Wing took off with almost the full unit, followed a few minutes later by the 2 C-130s from the 213th Engineeers Squadron based there. I called home to see what was going on and found out about the attack. Truely a sad day. We, on a few occasions could smell the fires from over 70 miles east. I haven't been to lower Manhatten since. I heard Bob had problems, I always thought it was a set up. My B-61 Mixer is an ex Colonial, ex Certified, ex Roanoke unit...still has 6 or 8 yards in it. I never vote for anybody I'm told to, never even thought of sending it back postage due.....
