  1. Disconnect all air lines. Drain antifreeze or cap lines.(I cap lines) should be 3 bolts on flange. Unbolt and slide back should be good to go. Install new coupler.
  2. This is promising. I'm going to do something within 2-3 months for SURE. Max boost as it sits now is 30. I believe I need injectors anyway. When the outside temp gets warmer to hot it tends to load up and miss when starting out low rpm. I puffs alittle blue and cleans out when I floor it. I put a new fuel pump on and it did not change, so injector must be leaking or something. (thats my guess, good reason to buy hotter injectors ..) I have a Davco 382 pro heated. I notice a couple of small bubbles from time to time but can not find any leaks. What is your thought on this? Everyone else please chime in on possible fixes for my problem. Thanks
  3. Just wanting to know if anyone has had any ECM re flashes from this company? And if so please give any comments you may have. 10. I've seen the air bags last the life of the truck. They cost from around $150-250 depends on the style. Maintenance?? Good clean air, keep clean. Maybe some other things, that I do not know. I do hope to learn from others on the maintenace of air bags if any.
  11. Thanks for the info. How can I tell if it is a CCRS engine?
  12. Could you look mine up also? 139664 Thanks
  13. I've changed mine to 85/100 watt with NO problems. Also check that right bulb is installed. 9004 and 9007 look exactly the same, but are wired different. My CH is an '01 with 9004's, I bought 9007's and they were very dim lows but highs were fine. I ended up switching 2 wires at the plug and all was fine. http://candlepowerinc.com/pdfs/9004_9007.pdf
  14. I have a detailed sheet from Mack Net part locator. I was wondering if this is my 5th wheel part # 1RF 754P28? If so, what make is this fifth wheel. Thanks
  15. Ok, to bad you live so far away. I'd jump on that. Trust me, I know old school trucks. First over the road truck was a Cabover, 1985 short WB.(what's airride?) Freightliner, driving alot of the PA turnpike and mountains in TN, WV to name a few, going to mines with special equipment. That was in late 80's. My Mack springs still have a shape to them. Truck has 405K on it. I thinks someone said here before, but I ask, is there a upgrade for shackles with grease fittings? I had truck in shop a few days with drive line problems, so I'm back on topic.
  16. BTW, I just want to drive their and be A real truck driver...
  17. I know things are just as high in the US. Is there any land for 2 herments??? And 2 jobs, 1, truck driver (should I import my Mack), another in law enforcement. Anyone in AU call me if there's a chance of living there. Doug 443-871-6907 US cell #
  18. I would have to say that would only apply to US cab overs.
  19. Funny, I remember in '89,(was driving FL cabover) in Philly., wreck on 95n, 2 large cars of the time. They followed me in central Philly to by pass wreck. I hope they made it out, never seen them again. Never follow a Cab over with a 48'.(1989)
  20. Why is the US market agianst these (in tandem) rigs? I'd buy in a heartbeat.?.? http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/detail.aspx?OHID=1896105
  21. I've searched, anyone make Glider kits for older Macks? I know just my pipe dream. Or for Trade, CH613 '01, for SuperLiner or R model.
