  1. You tapped into my mind. I feel the same way. If i met the owner of the truck i was fixing and we talked well together, i would have a natural concern and would step up my game for that owner..
  2. Good job Mech... Yes, i did work very hard to fix big trucks, and had many minor injuries, that added up to this mess. Both knees are junks, and lower back and shoulders crunch with ease. Thats why i wondered if the Commie trucks were easier to work on. Im doing a study on the relation ship of pain to the types of trucks we fixed.. I think im still on track..
  3. Fjh speaks good sense here.. its been at least 6 years since i made one of these repairs. One of the last ones i did, i pulled the MP-7 out of the GU chassis. When you get the new compressor gear, be sure to get the correct diameter gear, there are 2. The small one will not engage the other gears. One of my co workings taught us that the hard way.. I wish you much success, is the housing easy to find?
  4. Dean, I hope you and your family had a good Christmas, with all other things considered. Jojo
  5. All 👍
  6. Lots of T.V. time for me right now.. i got a new left knee for Christmas.. ok. Ill stop there, before i hijack this one.
  7. You a busy man Bob...
  8. As ugly as these trucks are, I like em... I wonder if it was easier to work on them compared to the trucks i learned on..
  9. That is great.. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁
  10. I was just thinking of the Mack E-9... Im in know way as smart as all you guys on these Commie trucks...
  11. Paul, you obviously know my wife.. 😂
  12. Geeze... I wonder what engine it is... 🤔
  13. Is that last truck a pugeut? Or a citroen?
  14. If it s electric start instead of kick start, she may like it better.. 😜
  15. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁
  16. That was going on in 2001+2 when i worked at Maine Mack in Westbrook ME. They bought 32+ CH-612 + 613's running or not. I even had to show some how to release the brakes and shift.. it was a strange time.. All going to Guatemala.. They didnt speak english..
  17. He definitely does this often..
  18. Ok. Its in the side of the housing by the starter.. the wires take a beating from dirt flying off the steer tire. Peel the loom back,to inspect, and tug the wires in the plugs..
  19. I swear A.O.C. is nuts too.. really, i bet she jumps out a window some day soon. She aint right.
  20. Did we talk about looking at the fly wheel sensor wires?
  21. Which wire?
  22. I just watched the whole 23 minutes... I want to call B.S. but its hard to deny the footage, especially since its seen in other countries.. what do you think JC ?
  23. Hey bud, is the clutch fork in the wrong hole? Doesnt the cable come off the engine, and pull Forward? Its great that you found the items for a low price. Do you run 2 pto's?
  24. I see it has bores for the release fork for macks fork location.. in the bell housing... good deal
