  1. 'F' has good points, that squeal can sound like letting air out of a balloon, by pinching it off with youre fingers... I hope I painted a good picture of what I mean... jojo
  2. It would make a heck of a service truck, but, I would rather be at a campground with it, sittin by a fire talking to all the curious people who want to see it.. I would be proud to have that one... jojo
  3. here is another one of my crazy thought's.... since it wont do it sitting still, while it is sitting still, turn the heater fan on high, turn the headlights on high and what ever else you have that pulls hi amps, and rev it up.... if it squeals, maybe you have an issue with the alternator.. hell i dont know,,, jojo
  4. can you post the make, model, and year, as well as the engine, in the case it's not a Mack..
  5. you rekon you have a squealing center bearing.? jojo
  6. hell glenn, his is all mechanical.. he can just stand there and rev it up... jojo
  7. hell yeah, I bet I can build that engine for that much or less if you go all PAI, parts.. jojo
  8. just for kicks, is the crank pully worn out? I have replaced a few of them due to wear, and a couple of them were splitting.. However, MarkT makes a good point... jojo
  9. if its thick enough so that when you clamp the cover down, it takes a bit of effort, then,,, well there you go... I would buy a few of them and put them on the shelf.. jojo
  10. you got this, bring it with you incase they dont know what it is, and you can use thier tape measure and look on thier screen to show them what you want..
  11. did you cross reference it on the webb? jojo
  12. Awesome!!! you go 'Boy Scout'!!! jojo
  13. so to be clear is it fixed now? if so, my guess would be that you improved a connection when you plugged things back in... jojo
  14. dude,,, I lived in Portland Maine for 20+ year's..... Its the San Francisco of the east coast... jojo
  15. 🤮... I am certainly not a vision of fitness, but ..... REALLY?????? jojo
  16. I am building one now that had 1.2 M on it, it was a running engine, but it was 'Time' I have seen abused E-Techs with near 1M on them, still running.. but 'Crystal ball's" are on back order right now, so, use youre best judgement.... how much is the truck? jojo
  17. in general, that truck is rock solid. of course no one really knows how long it will live.. If the maintainence is as good as you say, then just 'run-it' send the oil out for analysis. keep good filters on it, change the oil more often, replace the coolant if it old, replace the thermostat, check valve adjustment. as far as what you would get out of the truck, did you mean ; miles/use? re-sale price? jojo
  18. I love this!!!! your helper's are awesome... jojo
  19. YES!! good call, Mech...
  20. I think a filter or a "Flag" on post's that are a year old and older would work,, no need to delete them just inform the viewer that they are older post's... jojo
  21. my question is.... how do you find an old post? however I have typed it in to google and it will show a BMT listing... maybe thats how??? jojo
  22. the 2070 is bullet proof.. it is a different shifting than the X107... ( my favorite) next to a 1070B... jojo
