  4. Yes sir. I forget that ASET- C uses separate wires, unlike E-TECH.. all good. The best part, is that it's fixed..

  8. Specify everything.. Check the accesory relay under the ash tray.. Keep in touch... jojo
  9. Here is a picture of a common issue with the EUP wires.. The other one is the finished product.. I dont have a picture of how I repaired the EUP wires.. jojo
  10. Yes sir,, great point.. I was thinking about the other 2 EUP's on that power wire.. Just wondering if there was an 8-1 and an 8-3 code.. Just trying to think outside the PTT box .. I recently repaired an E-Tech wire harness for a friend. I stripped all of the loom and tape off and spread each wire out to look for issues like cracks, chaffing, and such.. I did make several repairs for chaffing, and 2 repairs for bad terminals in plugs. Anyway,,, that's all... Allway's good to read your post's FJH... Jojo

  12. How about attaching it to the back of the chrome guard, and adding some rubber buttons behind the guard at the bolt holes, drill them out and, use a little bit longer 8mm bolts?
  13. I have a question,,, '2wdiesel2021'.... Did you happen to record the wire number off of the insulation, on the bad wire?.. It should say something like EJ-3 -41,,, something like that... If it isnt too much trouble to look at the bad wire, by peeling back the loom to read it... if you can't,,, that's ok... I was curious if it was the power wire for EUP 1,2+3,,, or the EECU signal wire, for #2.. Glad you got it fixed, and really glad you didn't load a parts cannon and shoot a couple grand worth of parts, due to a bad wire.. That happens a lot.. Good on you!! Jojo

  18. Hey Ricky, If you dont find screen that you like... You could buy a sheet of fireplace spark screen for about $55.00, and cut it to fit.. Just search it on the web, "fireplace spark screen sheets"... I already looked, it's out there.. jojo
  19. Tell you what.. on the front of the engine, above the over board breather, is a 1/4 npt. Plug.. it takes a 1/4 drive ratchet extension to remove it.. you can hook to it,. There is also 2 other ports directly behind the block, right in line with the EUP's.. you can use one of them. Then you can put the regulator back in the normal way.. if you remove any of those plugs, be sure to dry it off and dope it really good, and put it in tight..
  20. When the weather is better, I have to replace my GasPack and my water heater.. Then all of my appliances and electrical will be 5 years old or less..
  21. Before the regulator, this way the fuel is held back by the regulator, so the gauge will read correctly..

  23. I did my time in the late 80's.. a few bucks more per hour, and usage of the lift as well . I had a beat up 69 Camaro back then.. Ahhh,,,, the good old days..
  24. As long as it is between the lift pump and the regulator, your good.. there are a couple other ports you can use, but this is a clear depiction of one that works.. jojo
