  1. Steel valve covers or aluminum?
  2. Looks like a run of mill budd wheel to me.
  3. I checked out truckpaper a few minutes ago. Sh*tloads of B models, not a single F.
  4. An MH or cruiseliner with camelback and heavy fronts sure would make a good lowboy tractor. An F would be better.
  5. An argosy with a 60 series would be nice.
  6. Tubeless is the only way to fly unless you are doing an accurate restoration.
  7. I see lots of cabover trucks, just no Mack cabovers. Kennys, petes, combines, and freightshakers all over the place.
  8. Saw one that belonged to a farmer outside of Helena,AR a few years back. Only one I've seen in a looong time. It was a single axle which is no good for me. It was clean though, real clean.
  9. I see more B models around than I do F models. It's strange. I would love to have one. It would make a nice lowboy tractor.
  10. I never see any around, and I keep my eyes out for them. Were they not popular in their day?
  11. This could be true. It puts me back in the same place I am with the mounts. Are there different part #'s for front covers, if so, what are the differences.
  12. I've seen several of these mounts and they all look the same. I think it's the rear mounts. I wish I knew if there was more than one part # for the rear mounts.
  13. I was hoping there were a few old heads around here that could impart some of their vast knowledge on me in regards to my problem. Anybody have any idea where else to look?
  14. Nice truck. No pusher axle so shouldn't see weights heavy enough to damage suspension or frame. It's worth 12-14k all day long.
  15. Truck is factory, gold bulldog and all.
  16. I need a couple RS/RL grilles too.
  17. Try the late model truck forum. You will have more luck there.
  18. I would like to kick his ass for cutting up those trucks. I would love to have had one of them.
  19. Particulate filter problem? It's like having a stopped up catalytic converter on a gasser.
  20. The truck is a 79 west coast mack. I am familiar with the history of the different R models. The RL did have an early/late style front mount. One is steel the other is aluminum according to my local dealer. The mounting location is the same. I have seen both. I keep coming back to the trans mounts and the bellhousing. Either one of those would change the location of the engine.
