Still trying to get hooked up. I have found that most places I go with these heater almost never have the proper equipment to unload them. I always watch and try to help anyway I can because the last thing I want is for someone to get hurt or worse trying to get me unloaded.
  3. From the album: TRUCKING ACROSS THE U.S.A.

The guys trying to get their huge Cat front end loader hooked up to the heater to set it off. They had a time of it but eventually got it off with out a scratch.

Cortland N.Y. sitting on my butt waiting on dispatch to find me a load...no luck. I wound up dead heading 900 miles home with nothing. Thank GOD the load paid $3.00 a mile. This was at the same truck stop that LOGHAULER saw my truck and I took a picture of his truck and didn't know it was him.

I loaded this HEATEC oil heater in Chattanooga and took it to Sealy TX.. This picture was taken in Sealy while I was waiting to unload.

This is the load I took to Gloucester City N.J. . It was a type of foam insulation that is encased in sheet metal for the inside of a refrigerated warehouse. The total weight was only about 15,000 pounds.
  7. From the album: TRUCKING ACROSS THE U.S.A.

Sealy TX. I brought an oil heater out from Chattanooga Tn. to the MARKIII Corp. in SEALY and wouldn't you know it Mack is on the job in Texas too.
  8. From the album: TRUCKING ACROSS THE U.S.A.

Gloucester City N.J., I brought a small load up from Texas and was headed into the Gloucester terminals when I spotted this CH Mack single axle. Talk about narrow streets.
  9. From the album: TRUCKING ACROSS THE U.S.A.

I was looking hard for the museum where Rocky had run up the steps...Later I saw the back side of the museum . This is a shot of down town Phillie.
  10. From the album: TRUCKING ACROSS THE U.S.A.

I loaded this tiny load in Collegeville PA. and took it to Columbia S.C.... it was a hot load. The plant I took it to had ran out of material and needed it A.S.A.P.

  14. I believe one of those pictures had the mack pulling an Isralie Mercava tank, and another pulling an M1 Abrams.
  15. I'm not sure about the parts. If it were me I would contact your nearest MACK dealer. Have the trucks VIN and the serial number and part number off of the axle and the power devider itself. Barry , the site administrater can help you there. He works for a mack dealer. Check out the LINKS at the top of the page...he works for WATTS MACK and this site is owned by WATTS I think. Good luck
  16. I am no kind of an authority on the subject so this is only an educated guess. I took a coarse on firearms appraisal several years ago and the big emphasis was to keep the item as original as possible unless it had to be repaired with new parts for safety.Keep all the original parts...if possible. If you ever sell the truck it will have more value if it is it's original form. However if you do decide to change it over to a single screw try and keep the original running gear so if you do sell it ,it will be more valuable to a collector. Good luck and have fun.
  17. Yes I was. I didn't head south until about 4pm. It's a good thing I made $3.00 a mile on that load or I would still be sitting up there in the snow.
  18. Welcome aboard Nastydog. We love those badass E9s around here.
  19. WE all have to start out somewhere I promise I won't hold it agaist you.
  20. Good to see you back, and Merry Christmas to you and yours. The FLD is an ok truck but it sure ain't a MACK. I used to own one...Lol I'm glad I got rid of it.
  21. Bruce I just wanted to say hello. I live right down the road from you in Chickamauga. I have seen your truck at south eastern diesel before and had commented on it to friends. That's Twice this week I have seen other members trucks and didn't know it. If you need any help I would be glad to lend a strong back and a weak mind to your endeavors. I wish my Dad was still alive he could get her up and running for you in no time. He rebuilt an old Model T (?) Ford pick up before he passed away. Had it purring like a kitten....not to mention his old beloved 8N Ford tractor. P.S You might check out the fuel supply lines, the rubber....Neoprene hoses they maybe collapsing internally. If you could run a temporary one to the carb and then run it up a hard pull you may find your problem. I had this happen on my Vision and it got where it wouldn't pull itself over a speed bump.
  22. I tried to pull up a video on youtube with the Titan pulling against the off brands with out luck.
  23. I saw another BMT member out on the road this past week and didn't even know it. Log hauler ..however he recognised my truck and sent me a PM and asked me if I had been to the truck stop off exit 10 on I-81 at Cortland N.Y. Indeed I was. I was stuck trying to find a load with out success.. Way to go Cardinal. Another one load week followed by a 900 mile dead head back home. Hell I thought your truck looked so nice I took a couple of pictures of it. I saw several other Mack's set up very similar to yours but didn't take any pictures of them.
