Hi, Australia has very tuff laws on this sot of thing, safety first. plastic was legal years ago for memory, then they stopped it some time later due to the hose been easy to kink, in saying that there still is a few trucks out there that have plastic. flexi rubber hose would be the way to go on every thing from chassis to axles, where a moving part meets a non moving part the rubber is the one.   6. Hi, will look for a website, thanks. there was an assembly plant in Brisbane, not sure when this was, then it moved to sydney, but they cant tell me much, or i keep getting someone who does not know about the vin side of things. Grant

Hi, I did my cab on the duck replica I am building, bags were 65.00 each, shocks were south cal chrome shocks for 130.00 pair, level valve was 100.00 then brackets were 40.00 will get pic tomorrow. my bags sit on out side of chassis, factory they are at the back in the middle. now pics attached. Hi, will all ways wonder. was surprised when i had seen the numbers were one behind the other. these things were like you say most likely built next to each other, they have then come half way around the world to here then both trucks have ended up in my hands. I would love to confirm that they were on that line together. Grant

  10. Hi, there from 1970s one was an F model and the other an R model. the F is the one I pulled the engine, axles an radiator from. the R is the water truck in my pics. Grant
  11. Hi, hope all is well every body. can anyone tell me where these 2 trucks were on a production line? was one in front of the other on the same line? the truck I am building has bits from both these an 2 other trucks. just curious. Grant
  12. its a wonderfull thing to happen isnt it! cold motor, no oil pressure, the last time mine did this it split a core plug in the head, havnt fixed it yet as I have to pop a head off each side. mine still doesnt have an accelerator pedal hooked up so if I forget to lock the linkage down it revs very high.
